I am going on vacation soon!

Mommy told me the most exciting news the other day!
She said when she goes away to that hot yucky sandbox thingy so far away for her job, I get to go stay with my grandma! How much fun will that be?!?!?!
She said grandma lives at a beach, I have never seen one of those things, but mommy said there are things called waves made out of water, and I love water, so I must be able to swim there. She said grandma likes to go on walks so I get to go mark my territory in another state! Soon I will own this world, he he he he.
I am going to miss mommy and daddy and my big brother and sister, but I really like my grandma and she is so much fun and likes me too! Mommy said she likes terriers so much and becuase of that she will be able to handle me better.
Mommy told me I will be the only dog there so it will be my house, with my very own human to cater to me, I am going to be king of the castle!
I hope grandma is ready for me, I live up to my name terrier, or as so many say "terror".

Now I know...

Well, this is my first entry, I have waited so long becuse I was so young I didn't know much.
But NOW I KNOW!
I rule this house!
Mommy said it is becuase I am a terrier with a huge heart and the voice of thunder. I just figure with a little body like this in this house you have to make a statement and be in charge.
Mommy said wizzie, my older sister, NEVER let any one take her toys or treats, and now she just gives them to me! I must be really special.
And Gateway my big brother, he is so much fun, I take his toys and run around the house, and he just chases me and chases me as long as I keep running.
He he he, it is so much fun to pick on him.
and my daddy, well, he didn't want a terrier, but look at him now, when no one is looking, we hang out on the couch and nap together, and if anyone picks on me, he sets them straight.
I am a little worried though, he keeps telling me that mommy will be going away for a long time soon. He said she is going to some sand box and will have stay there for over a year. He said I can't go, but I know mommy has these big green bags she has to take with her and maybe when no one is looking I can sneak into one of them and surprise her!
that is probably not a good idea, mommy said it would be too hot for me.
I don't want my mommy to go away, but she says she has to do her duty so I can much on doggy biscuits and run in my yard any time I want. If I am only able to do those things becuase of what her and her buddies do, then it must be a very important job.
I sure am going to miss her though!
I really don't want my mommy to go away.... :(
