Our Pal Yukiko, a sweet and beautiful Malamute, crossed the Bridge this weekend. We are so sorry for her family and send them all of our love during this hard time.

Doggie Olympics

I entered the Larimer Animal-People Partnership Doggie Olympics this last Sunday. My event was the 25 yard dash for senior dogs and I got the bronze!!!

I had a great time and helped raise $$ for the LAPP which trains therapy pups. I will post pics soon!!

Well, after 10 years I guess it was inevitable- I had to have my teeth cleaned! It was awful-- 5 extractions and a day of feeling really goofy:(

I do like my pain meds--Mom said I would -- and I Really like the soft food for a month !!! :)

Then we have to start brushing--I hope that means something tastey!!

Wow--- I do not feel 10 years old!! Where did the time go, I still feel like a pup and have all the energy in the world!!! We will celebrate my day this weekend with a looong walk and some special treats!!

4 th of July

Well pups I don't know about you all but this is the WORST day of my year! :( The noise is not to be believed!!

Mom went to the Vet on Sunday and got my pills-- I hope they will help keep me calm thru the worst of the evening.

We live right by the Park where the BIG fireworks show happens ---- most years we go visit family over the holiday but it really does not matter where we are I hate the fireworks!!!!!!!!!!!!

My best advise to any of you pups who have my same fears-- Better Living Through Chemistry--- have your humom ( or Dad ) get you some meds , it really does help!

Happy Independence Day to all the humans-- Remember what this day is all about and voice your concerns--- " If you are not outraged, you are not paying attention "

Randi likes to scare them but I ignore them for the most part and just give mom my long-suffering " Why Me ? " look when we go to visit.

It really is below the dignity of a supermodel to chase little dogs--- I would rather chase the squirrels-- I don't get yelled at like Randi if I stick to the tree-vermin!!!

My first Entry

Dad calls me a supermodel , I guess cause food does not rule my life and I do retain my girlish figure with very little problem! I am starting a diary for myself cause I am the senior pup in this household since my mentor Sadie crossed the Bridge-- I learned everything I know about patrolling the yard from her-- I am not as subtle tho ,I do not hide in the bushes , I go straight to letting them know I am here!! Don't come in my yard!!!!!


I have tried to inspire the Luv Bug ( Randi ) and sometimes she guards the homestead with the proper energy, but mostly she plays the sweet doggie role!! Disgusting!!!

I luv my home and I luv my people ( especially Dad :) I like to sleep by him and give him my best smiles, which he calls "pretties". Mom says I am really getting good at accepting strangers in the house as I have "matured" but I still have issues with some boys who invade my space!

I was born with a defect in my right eye called #@%^&^%$#*& and some other stuff I can not remember! Basically, the blood vessel that formed the lens in that eye messed up and so I am blind ( but do not know it ) and have drops EVERY day in that eye, which I HATE ! It does not slow me down cause I think everypup sees like I do!!

I am a really good girl and I like to learn new tricks, I do have a hard time catching treats or balls cause of my eye , but everything else is a piece of cake!! Walks are my favorite thing and we go out alot except for when it is super cold and a lot of snow cause Mom does not think I would like ' Booties ' to keep the ice balls out of my paws!

We are having a stretch of warm weather here and we get to be out while the parental units work-- quite a change from the winter when we stayed in cause of the snow-- More later from the Margs!!!!!
