CANINE GOOD CITIZEN

I am proud to announce that I am a Canine Good Citizen Graduate. My mom was a little worried that I would not pass, but I passed with flying colors.

SSSnake!!!

I am a little over 4 1/2 years old. I have never barked my entire life, but I did for the first time yesterday. My mom heard a dog barking with a very deep bark. She new it wasn't the Corgi's barking. She opened the front door and she heard it even louder. She thought our neighbor had gotten a new dog. So she went to the back yard and followed the noise. But low and behold!! She found me barking. I was barking at a snake, but I kept my distance. I know they can be nasty. So I kept barking at it. I wanted my mommy to come out and see it. And she did. She said she was so shocked because I have never barked before and it was deep. My mom called us dogs inside and sent daddy to go get the snake. It is not a poisonous snake, but he took it away from our house.

I take my job seriously. I love my mommy and want to protect her. I am not usually a cuddler. But last night I cuddled with my mom and licked her arm. She knew what I was telling her. She said she was proud of me. That I let her know about the snake without hurting myself.

My Beloved Jax

The love of my life is gone - Woooo!!! He is the one who made me realize that I was a Siberian Husky. Before Jax I thought I was a Corgi. My mommy says that I am more bratty since I have relized that I am a Siberian. I have killed and ate 2 birds, numerous lizards, and I don't come in at night when called.

My Jax. He would escape his yard to come and see me. Now, that is love!! My mommy says that he will come and visit. But I have a feeling it will not be like before.

I will dream of Jax. And I will save all my kisses just for him - Woooo!!

A DAY AT THE GROOMERS

My mommy took me to the groomers today. I don't like going, but I did see myself in the mirror and WOW! Am I beautiful or what? Everyone says I look like a puppy now that I have blown my coat.

AROUND TOWN

Today my mommy took me to the vet to get weighed. I think she thought I was to skinny because I am blowing my coat. But I weigh how much I should weigh - 58#'s.

After that we went to Clarks Pet Emporium to buy dog food. I loved all the new smells. They have these open boxes full of dog treats and I just helped myself. If they did not want me to have some they would not have them open like that.

Finally, we stopped at Three Dog Bakery. When I walked in there I had this look on my face as if I hadn't eaten today (ha, ha, they don't know that) and I got another treat.
