Arrival Story:
I enrolled in a service dog school because I needed a service dog. Donovan's breeder/Mother had to get rid of him because he couldn't be shown. His left testicle hadn't descended. Luckily for me she called our service dog school to see if we needed a dog. Donovan and I met on a Sunday afternoon and we've been together ever since. (Sunday, Sept. 2, 2001)

Bio:
Donovan has been my service dog for twelve years now. He isn't able to travel like he used to because it just is too hard on him. He still does all the at home things that I need help with. He can still get to the corner store and that suits me fine.

A Year Plus Five Months

It's been almost a year and a half human time. To me it just seems like a moment. Life is good here but I still miss Mom. I was with her 24/7 and close too not just in the same room. I will miss her until I see her walking across the grass towards me. She will have some other animals with her, all the cats she knew and loved plus her other two dogs. I don't mind. Our meeting will be as special as if no one else were there. I'm waiting Mom.
