Homer doesn't do tricks

Arrival Story:
They were born to a mama dog whose owner was going through a divorce so we got all three (Homer, Giselle & Coco) FREE! What a bargain!

Homer is definitely a mama's boy. When he was with my son's ex-girlfriend, he didn't like to be held or sit in anyone's lap - now he is the quintessential lap dog!

Forums Motto:
I am NOT the alpha dog in this bunch

Homer's Manly Diary

I have been tagged by my darling Gemmy!

1. That my dearest Gemmy will feel better REAL soon. If the winters up there in Canada are too harsh, you can spend winters here with me in Texas - I'll keep you warm!
2. That I can lose a significant amount of weight (3.5lbs) over the next few months because I am FAT! It's so hard being on a diet.
3. That Mama will take me bye-bye to more places with her.
4. That my sis Ruby will grow some dachshund ears instead of those pit bull ears she has.
5. Tha t God wil help us to help suffering little animals this year whose owners don't love them like our families love us.

I will decide later who I should tag for these Valentine wishes

Getting the manly body in shape

OK, so I weighed 18.8 lbs when I went to the vet a few weeks ago. I have big bones! And I think I am a compulsive eater as well. Anyway, strict diet time - I've been suffering on a VERY limited diet of that yummy Royal Canin. So I was just elated when I went for my shots last Friday & I weighed 17.1 lbs! YIPPEE! It's paying off! Ryan also gave me a summer haircut while Mama was in Oregon. I look quite dashing in a punk doxie sort of way!

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats/Dogs who are tagged need to write about themselves (the seven random facts) as well as the rules in their diary. You need to select seven cats/dogs to tag and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment (via p-mail) telling them that they've been tagged and that they need to read your diary for more information.

7 little known facts about Homer:

1. My dog mother's family gave me away when I was just 4 weeks old. But at least I went with my sisters Coco & Giselle.
2. My best friend is my chocolate Lab Bogart because he lets me lick his ears.
3. I used to chew stuff up & take underwear under the bed or outside but I don't do that anymore. If I get nervous, I might sneak in to the kitty litter for a couple of tootsie rolls but not very often.
4. I get really mad at other dogs when I have my leash on but when we got to the dog park & Mama lets me run free, I have a lot of fun & don't get aggressive at all.
5. I have a really thick body & LOTS of long black hair. I look like a walking mop
6. I get my feelings hurt very easily.
7. I wouldn't want to be an only dog - I need my sissies to play with me.

It's my turn to tag 7 doggies and kitties, I think I'll tag:

I hope everyone keps the game going.
