Likes: She loved her mommy Pet-Peeves: strangers Favorite Toy: she loved being pulled in her wagon Favorite Food: chicken Arrival Story: Madelynne was adopted from the landfill shelter in Putnam county,FL. in 1993 Bio: Madelynne was dumped at an animal shelter by a breeder who had gotten into trouble for selling too many dogs without a license. Rather than get a license, she dumped off her breeding stock. Madelynne stayed at the shelter for a month. She would have been put to sleep after 7-10 days if it had not been for a kind man who worked there. I brought her home and worked with her. I loved her only second to my children. She contracted distemper at the age of 6, was misdiagnosed and almost died but she pulled through. She was left blind and disabled because of this illness, but she still fought and was the strongest of my dogs. She remained alpha. she lived to the age of 14.She passed away in her sleep, beside me, at the age of 14. I'll never love another dog as much as I did her.
