Happiest Day of my Life

Well today has to be the best day in my life. It started out by me going to a St. Patricks Day dance. But that is only the beginning.
I went to the dance with the most beautiful pup in the world. I went with Emma. We danced and we drank and we ate and we danced some more. We kissed and we hugged. It was all so romantic.
My mom says I must be falling in love cuz I have not stopped talking about Emma. I can't stop thinking about her either. I just hope she feels the same way about me. But I am too shy to ask her. So maybe when the time is right I will find out if she does feel the same way about me.
Ok well mom says I have to go to bed now so I think I will go up to bed and start dreaming of Emma!!

OH GREAT

Great! They finally did it. My mom and dad went out and got a CAT. They came home with her yesterday. Her name is Lola and she is kinda cute. I don't think she liked me very much at first cuz she kept hiding under the couch.
But today she is not hiding there anymore and she is not hissing at me anymore. I even gave her a kiss (only cuz my mom made me) (YUCK)
I think she liked it.

The only good thing that came out of all this was that my mom and dad must have felt guilty so they bought me a new bed AND some new yummy treats. They are sooooooo good. and my new bed is HUGE and very comfy.

Good News!!!!

Well I have been taking all my yucky medicine and I have been leaving the ugly cone on my head alone.
The good news is that my infection is pretty much all gone. There is a little spot that still itches and I still bite it every chance i get but for the most part it is looking good.
My hair is even growing back. The vet told me that the hair on my leg would not grow back and she was WRONG. What does she know anyway. My mom is so happy that it is looking soooooo much better!!!! She bought me these yummy treats that i get every day after i take my pills. They are sooooo good.
So hopefully in another week when that little section of my leg completly heals I can get this cone off of my head for good!!!!! WoooHoooo!!!!!! Then I could look normal again!!!

I'm in the doghouse~ I need your HELP

Hey everyone! Most of you know that I have an infection on my leg. And I have been on medication. Well I went back to the vet because my leg was not getting any better because I would not stop licking and biting it.
So they put me on more meds and they gave me a new cone. :(
With the cone I have tried to get it off soooooo many times and I just cant figure it out. It must be made of steel cuz I just can't seem to take it off. So the other day my dad felt sorry for me so he convinced my mom to take the cone off of me for a little while. (BOL) So I jumped up and down like I needed to go to the bathroom and the suckers let me outside. Boy was that a bad move on their part!! But I did not tell them that!! BOL
I was only out for about 10 mins and when I came back in my mom was soooo mad at me because I chewed off the scar and i made my leg bleed AGAIN!
OH she was so mad at me. But it was so good to chew on my leg again. NOW she only takes it off so that I can eat then she puts it right back on. I keep giving her the puppy sad look but nothing is working!!
So if any of my pals have any suggestions for me to try I would love to give it a try!!! Send me pawmail with anything that I can try!
Although mom says that no matter what I do the cone is not coming off!!!

Well I will let you all know how that goes!!

Looking good

Well mom got some good news today! Some of the blood results came back today and there is no internal infection due to the one on my leg. Which is really really good!! YYYIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Not all the results are back yet. There are a couple that we still don't know about. But the vet said within the next couple of days they should have them.

As for the strict diet that I am on... I guess it is not so bad. I still don't like the idea of being called a senior. But mom got me some really yummy cookies that I love and she didn't mean for me to hear, BUT I heard her tell dad that they were cookies for senior dogs. I guess I will just pretend that I did not hear that since they are so yummy!!!!

Well, I will give you an update when we hear back with the rest of the results!!!

Not feeling very good

Mom and Dad took me to the doctor on Friday because I have a sore on my leg. It turns out that I have allergies that my mom and dad did not know about. The sore on my leg was because of the allergies and because I would not leave it alone it became an infection.
Then they also found out that I have an ear infection and I had almost 104 degree tempterture.
I have not been feeling very well lately and have been very crabby. But now that my mom knows whats going on with me she says that it all makes sense to her now.
The doctor put me on medicine for the infection in my leg and she also put me on ear drops for my ear infection.
Mom says I was such a good boy because while I was there they stuck something up my butt to check my temp and they took blood from me and I let them. I did not get mad and growl or anything. So when I got home I got a treat!! It was yummy!!

Tommorrow mom will get a phone call from the doctor letting my mom know about the results from the blood that they took out of my leg. Mom says that I might have hyper-thyroidism. ( whatever that means)
But if i have that they have to put me on special food. I like the food I eat now, but i guess it will be ok.

I also heard the doctor tell my mom that I am a senior. I yelled at the lady and told her I was not a senior. But now because of what the lady said about me being a senior~~mom went out and bought me food for senior dogs. I guess it is ok, but i dont feel like a senior. I run around all the time.

Well i will let you know how my blood results come back. Hopefully everything will be ok and i will go back to my normal self.

This is the best day ever!!!!

I woke up this morning not really wanting to because it is soooooo cold outside. But then I found out that I (yeah me Austin) am the dog of the day!!!
This is the best news I could have gotten.
I was still a little upset about The Bears not winning but this makes it all better!!!
