 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: December 26th 2000
Likes: The 4-wheeler, this is the best chase game a dog can find, but I can never catch up!

Pet-Peeves: When strange men come into my home, and I am inside my fence and the 4-wheeler is leaving.

Favorite Toy: My monkey that talks, and my chicken, they are my pretend babies.

Favorite Food: I love the cheapest treats you can find! Especially Ol'Roy, mmmmm. Not a fancy treat girl.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere my mommy walks.

Best Tricks: High 10 and Speaking.

Arrival Story: My brother had allowed a girl that was out of a place to stay and live at his house for a month until she got on her feet and she had a dog that was almost 1 year old. The dog came with her from a house of men that abused her. Plus she never took care of Maggie when she came back from work, the dog LIVED in the kennel,. she rarely was let out, mostly by my brother. She decided to leave to Arizona and leave the dog in her kennel without consulting anyone. My brother could not care for her, being that he was single in school and working. I just so happened to stop by that day, as he was taking her to our local shelter. I said "no way", they will put this dog to sleep. She was aggressive, scared, and completely terrified of everything! There is not a lot of funding for our shelter. I took her, and rehabilitated her, it took months and months of hiding under our bed, and she finally became the wonderful dog she was suppose to be. Maggie is the kindest dog, she still has her fears of some men, but day to day we work with that by meeting new people all the time. I found out later that the men she lived with before would throw fire crackers at her and everything else. What a cruel thing to do to such a sweetheart. And how far that dog has come, to become an outgoing little lover girl that she is. Maggie is my little shadow and is very loved. After 6 months after the previous owner came back, she called me and demanded that I giver her dog back, and I asked her if she even knew if her dog was dead or alive and if she was crazy to even ask me that. She then proceded to say that we could care for her, it would only be "fair", and that she wanted to still be in her life and buy her food, etc. Since that phone call, I have never spoke to her again, 5 years later and she still lives here in town. Why would she want a dog that she never cared for in the first place?

Bio: Maggie likes to be the "bossy" girl, she has to make sure all the dogs around her are always in check. Her way or the highway. Very prissy little girl. I guess she has won her dominance :0)
Maggie's favorite word is snuggle, you ask her if she wants to snuggle and she hi-tails it to the bedroom and vigeriously snuggles her head into our pillows and howls, when plops in the middle of the bed, so you have to cuddle with her some way or the other.

Forums Motto: Let's snuggle!
