Okay, those of you who've read this know I've gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. But my Mom still likes this one picture of me dressed up in my Santa suit so much, she entered it into the USA Today "Your Pooch in Pictures" contest! Well, imagine my surprise to find out that not only we made the first cut, but we're in the top twenty! The top vote getter will be printed in the print edition of USA Today! Woo-hoo! Not bad for a Rainbow boy, huh?!

It's my birthday today!

Hey, ya'll...it's my birthday today! Yep, I'm 9 years old! Can you believe it? I'm technically 63 years old and Mom still won't let me drive the car! That's just not fair!!!!

But, I do think she got me a special treat today. My Mamaw called and sang happy birthday to me, I love my birthday! I bet Momma makes me something really special to eat and I won't have to share with that stinkin' little dog, Jazzy! It'll be mine, all mine!!!!

Anyway, just wanted to say hey to everyone havin' a birthday today!

They're fixing me! Aaarrrggghhh!

Today is a sad day! My Momma took me in to be neutered! You know what that means! My precious jewels will be gone forever!!! Aaaarrrrggghhh!

Actually, she has to do it. Seems that my...um...well, one of my "p" glands is enlarged, and you guys know what that means! Very painful! Seems I have chronic prostatitis and they said that removing my...um...my jewels would make it reduce in size, eliminate the chronic infection, and things will go back to normal. They did say the "C" word, but that's only if the p-gland doesn't reduce in size. My Momma is very worried about that and has been a wreck, but I told her it would be okay. I don't have the big C and a little snip here won't hurt me.

So, guys, looks like I'll be singing a little higher from now on. Oh, well...easy come, easy go!

Little Weiner's Birthday

It's Jazzy, the Miniature Dachshund's, birthday today and she thinks I'm supposed to be nice to her! First, she griped at me 'cause I had gas this morning! Like I can help that! Then she said I was supposed to stand by the bed so she could get on my back and I take her to the couch! Please! Do I look like a bus? Well, okay, maybe I am as big as one, but still!

Then she thought that I'd bring her breakfast. If it's in my mouth, it goes in my belly, end of story! I ain't nobody's stinkin' servant, especially this little stinkin' weiner!

Oh, and it's ice and snowing outside and I hate it. I'm soooo ready for Spring!

I'm tired now and think I'll take a nap.

What a day!

I have pestered Mom forever to get my profile up on Dogster, but does she listen to me? Of course not! However, she finally did it. I think threatening to pee on the couch was what motivated her to get up and do it!

Well, since no one knows me, let me introduce myself. I'm Grady, a 125-pound Doberman Pinscher that's 8 years old this year. Yeah, I know. I'm an old man. But hey, I'm probably bigger than you so do you really wanna make fun of me?! :)

I have a little sister named Jazzy. She's a Miniature Dachshund and a major pain in my a--, I mean, she's a really sweet little dog. Yeah, right! She tries to bully me and tell me what to do. And would you believe, she even thinks she can sleep on me! I think she's been pestering Mom to do a blog for her on Dogster, too, but Mom's not listened to her like she did me. Serves her right, young little whippersnapper!
