On Tuesday June 26, 2007 my big dog 'Fatty' took his final breath. Having suffered from cancer (thyroid) for more than a year Baxter decided to let fate take him and he charged off over the Rainbow Bridge--no doubt in the company of his faithful companion Jake who passed over just six months earlier.
Unfortunately we were away when this happened, but my father stayed by his side and kept him company till the very end.
While we are deeply heartbroken we know for Baxter this was the best way he could have gone. He will be greatly missed by all of us, we know he is no longer in pain and he is waiting to greet us all with his smiling face and wagging tail when it is time.
We Love you Fatty and We will Miss you Dearly.
