Oh no - here we go again!

Momma was petting me yesterday and got real upset. She found the lump under my chin. She's afraid that it may be that cancer stuff again. I don't like to see her cry. She won't tell me anything because Santa Paws is coming tonight. I'll be a brave girl for momma. Maybe Santa Paws will bring me some frozen treats to make my throat feel better?!

Done!

I had my last radiation treatment yesterday!!! Momma says my burns will start to heal up ... that is if I don't lick them. I guess I'll have to keep wearing these t-shirts for a few more weeks. Momma says I get a bath this weekend. I'm glad, I like to play in the water and Momma wouldn't let me get in the water when I had to go to LSU.

These pills that Momma gives me make me so hungry. I just want to eat everything I can. Bleu eats so slow that when he doesn't finish is supper, I eat the rest of it. That makes Blue mad. So I growl at him to let him know that he walked away from his food and I'm going to eat it now. We got into a fight about it the other day and he scratched my ear. It bled some, but Momma fixed it right up. Bleu can be such a bully some times. Hrumph.

Half way

Wow! I've past the halfway mark for my treatments. I'm not feeling so well right now. I have to go to LSU 3 times a week right now. I've got 3 weeks left. Momma is making me wear these silly t-shirts because I keep licking my sore spot. Momma says the radiation is making my skin burn. What ever it is doing, it doesn't feel good. My throat has started to hurt so momma is giving me frozen treats! She is freezing the chicken stuff she makes and when I eat it, I can swallow better. Momma says my throat hurts because of the tube the doctors stick in it when I go to LSU.

Momma is letting me curl up on the couch with her at night. I get the special spot and I can lay my head on her arm. She holds me and I don't feel so scared.

I'm sleepy now, so I'll go take a nap.

No more bumps!

Momma was right, the big ol' machine didn't hurt. And I've got no more bumps! So now I just have to have radiation. I had my first treatment yesterday. It didn't hurt either. The only bad part is that the ladies at the place shaved off some of my fur! Now I have 4 bald spots on my back and shoulder and both front legs. They also marked me with a colored marker. They told momma that the marks have to stay for the next 7 weeks...so no baths for me. Yippee!!!! And I get to stay inside on rainy days. The only bad part is that I can't go swimming. Momma says that she'll take me swimming as soon as the radiation is done, so I guess that will be ok. And she gives me special treats for dinner every night. I hope I get liver tonight!

Ouch!

Those nice doctors keep sticking me with needles! They hurt sometimes. We went to New Orleans today to see a special doctor. He didn't poke me with needles or cut me open this time. He just petted me. I like him. Momma says that he is an oncologist. I'm not sure what that means, but it has something to do with the big bump the other doctor took out. Momma says that I have to have an MRI later this week. She tells me it won't hurt...this big machine is just going to look at my insides to see if there are any more bumps that have to be cut out. I hope not! Anytime I get cut open, I don't get to run around the yard with Bleu.
