Camping is Super Awesome!

Hi Pup Pals! I haven't been keeping up with my diary lately, partly because I have been having so much fun! Millie and I get to go to work with our Mama most days, and this summer we went on our first camping trip! We went to the piney woods of east Texas. You would not BELIEVE how many wonderful things there were to smell! It was a hound dog's paradise. We even went swimming for the first time. I'm pretty good at it too! Millie didn't like it too much, but at least she knows she can do it now. We got eats all kinds of yummy food and bugs. We can't wait to go again! I highly recommend camping to all pups!

Well I guess its not so bad...

Well, I caved. I am back in my place on the bed. I just couldn't take sleeping on the couch any more! And you know what? I do like that mattress afterall. I wake up in the morning with Momma to get breakfast, but then its back to bed for me! Pops has even caught me back in bed when he gets home for work... I guess I was too quick to judge.

I tell them that I want a puppy, and what do I get?

Poppa bought a new mattress for our bedroom, and I hate it! Beware of the memory foam! It is not dog friendly. I have never felt something so disturbing under my paws. Momma and Poppa sleep like puppies, but I am protesting by sleeping on the couch. The only problem is that they don't seem to mind at all! I'm hoping Momma will eventually get tired of having cold toes since I'm not there to warm them up. Maybe then they'll give me my mattress back.

Finally!

I have been waiting all month for Poppa to be home! What a wonderful Christmas gift! He and Momma work lots of hours, but we get every weekend together. I especially love this coming weekend because it's CHRISTMAS! Santa Paws is coming to see me, and then I get to go see al my grandparents. I am going to be a tuckered pup come Tuesday, but it will be worth it. I hope everyone has a safe and merry Christmas!

I'm feeling much better now...

Well, it's Monday which means Poppa is out of town again. I still miss him BUNCHES, but I love our time together on the weekends. Only 2 more weeks of having him away, and then he will be home for good...I can't wait!
Today, Momma and I went to see Santa Paws with Karlton and his mom. We had such a good time. I was so overwhelmed with all the dogs that were at the mall, that I forgot to tell Santa what I wanted! Woops...I guess he will just have to figure it out on his own. :)

I miss my Poppa already!

So, Poppa is going out of town for a while on business. I have never had to be away from him longer than a day or two, but this time he is going for a whole month! Momma says he will come home on the weekends, but I am still sad. Who will tuck us in at night? Who will make sure I get my dinner right at 8 when Momma has to work late? Who will keep me company? I am sure gonna miss my Poppa. I can go to my grandmum's house and visit some days...maybe that will make the time go by faster.
