Mom and Dad must be crazy. They're adding ANOTHER DOG.

[Sigh.]

Ever since Buddy died, our house has had a decent amount of dogs come and go... and unfortunately, two who stayed (HAHA Sully and Spice!). Now Mom is "fostering" a Jack Russell/Basenji mix. She swears that it's probably only going to be temporary but I know her better than she knows herself... the only way she'd give up that dog is if me, Sully, or Spice didn't get along with him AT ALL. Which probably won't happen because, despite myself, I like other dogs a lot. As long as they're friendly to me I don't have a problem, and even if they're mean to me, I usually just ignore them and try to get away from them. (Are you listening, Zoe?)

Mom says he was abused. I hope he's not all crazy because of that. Call me unsympathetic but some dogs just need to get over their issues... all humans aren't mean and horrible! Our family is great!

Mom and Dad say that this new dog, Izzy - and WHAT kind of a name is that for a boy dog? - is a really fast and energetic runner and that maybe I'll get a decent running partner at last. Perhaps this situation isn't so bad after all. I betcha Sully's going to FLIP OUT once he realizes he's not the only boy anymore and he can't soak up all of the attention like a spoiled little prince.

Hee hee... this could be quite entertaining for me...
