April showers bring lots of bones in May!!

Hi all: Well we have had alot of rain, hail and thunder storms here in Oklahoma. but my momma promises when the weather gets better she will take me on a long walk and i will get some treats...so I am excited that I am going to put my paws together and pray for some "sunshine!" I am needing my exercise and I always love getting treats after my long walks.

Weenie races

Hi to all of my little furry friends.
We hope that you had Wonderful Easter!
My mommy sent in my registration for the weenie races yesterday.
By the way these are races for charity. There is no stress involved but only pure and simple " Family fun!"
Last year my favorite Auntie Andrea, her family,My cousins, my moms work friends and my dachshund friends from Duncan. Hope to see you all there. Would write more but my mommy does not let me get on the computer much. Have a good one!!

Keeping Warm!! Rufus and his family

Hi All: We live in the Great State of Oklahoma. However, we recently had a horrible Ice Storm! Edmond and Oklahoma City, OK and actually most of the state has lost power (almost 600,000 without electricity)
The Governor has issued a State of Emergeny! However, Rufus and his family managed to stay warm with lots of blankets and lots of love. Rufus's mommy stayed very comfortable and warm because Rufus stayed snuggled under the covers by his mom's back side and kept her warm!!!! He deserves lots of treats for Christmas!! Our power turned back on today and we are blessed to have our power back on and we are very blessed to have Rufus in our Family!! He kept us warm and safe in the dark! We love our Rufus, baby Ru, little Ru Ru and baby boy!!!! God Bless everyone with a little bed warmer like our Rufus!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am very thankful to my mommy and daddy for my new warm coat ( it is a really cool army coat) I think that I look pretty cute in it. Thanks for my nice warm house it is finally starting to get cold in Oklahoma!! Happy Birthday to Oklahoma Statehood! (100 years old)
Oh! I want to say thanks to all of my pup pals!! Happy Thanksgiving Eating.. stay out of trouble... (unlike me)
I have be a little anxious lately -- I like to rip up papers and hide my dinner bowl from my family!! (but of course my mom never gets mad at me!)

Howl -O -Ween is my favorite!!

My mom has been shopping for me a really kewl " Howl- O -Ween" costume this year. Last year I sported a "Karate Kid" outfit and I was honorable mention at a local doggie store. This year my mom and dad are going to come up with a better costume for me and hopefully I will win! If not, I know that we will have Paws of Fun! (Hint: It 's Oklahoma's 100 Birthday!)
