Before we could get well on our way on the last leg of our voyage to the Pole, a storm swept in - so fast that the Beavers had to really scramble to make camp in a hurry. Up went the Weather Conqueror Tents and we all snuggled inside - even the husky dogs! It was THAT cold. And the wind was blowing fiercely!
The Beavers do not like being snowed in, so they constructed tunnels to give them access to the surface of the snow and built a giant Igloo to give us more room. And a good thing, too! Because no sooner had the storm broken than a Rescue Team from the Pole reached us. Led by Santa Claus himself!
One glance from his merry and wise eyes and all the pups knew we would be safer than safe! We all gathered in the Jumbo Igloo to sit on Santa's lap and tell him about our dreams and wishes. We all got nice little gifts - I got a silver bell and a little glass statue that looks just like a real reindeer. I have packed them carefully away in a bundle of stocking caps to keep them safe. Dubs got a tiny windup rabbit that can sing tunes and Samoa got a whistle and a new pair of ice skates.
PLUS: Santa said we would get our REAL presents on Christmas Day!
Later we all travelled the rest of the way to the Pole on special sleds pulled by Reindeer in training! What a thrill that is.
Tonight we are having a grand banquet. I better get out my nicest dress. At the banquet, after dinner, I am going to give Santa all the Christmas lists from Pups who sent them to me! Santa is SO kind. I am sure he will grant all our wishes!

kirby & tribe Savvy, would you let Santa know that we want a home for all the homeless animals AND if he has any left after giving all the homeless animals toys I'd like a stuffed fishy please. My favorite stuffed blue fish has been um destroyed again! Oh and snow for Kirbo would be great!
