Arrival Story:
After many trips to the SPCA and always finding cat-hating dogs, he stole my heart at an art festival where some wonderful volunteers brought him as he only had a day left in the 'big house'
he's had a few health issues- who thought mutts got allergies? :-)
so now he's on a dreaded diet after his allergy meds made him put on weight this winter!
Bio:
we learned later he was abused (used as a bait dog for fights)- but, he is a sweetie- has some leash issues, but fantastic with his feline sister and all of us!
update- he's doing well, and will soon try his luck at being a surfer dog-- the muttly crew (name borrowed from Helen!) is moving back to southern Ca-- my snow dog luckily loves water too!
And- he's made it to sunny Ca and adjucting well- went swimming 3x already (oops)
sadly- he went lame on a walk on 3/7- today he was diagnosed with a torn ACL- so now we must look into surgery- he's not happy and i'm broke- so cross your paws for us!
