Arrival Story:
I found Jack at the local SPCA, hiding at the very back of his kennel/pen. Tail between his legs, ears down, very sad. He wouldn't come up to the chain link door when people passed by, he just hovered as far away as possible. I had spoken to one of the adoption volunteers and was told that Jack had been surrendered at least twice that she knew of, and he had, had a history of being abused by a "male" figure in one or more of his placements. I felt so bad for the little guy, I went and sat at the front of his kennel and waited..........and waited, about 30 mins or so before Jack finally came to the front to see me, and, well the rest is history. We've been together now for almost 6 years, there have been a few little speed bumps, but on the whole I wouldn't trade the lil' fart for nothing.

It has taken until now, for me to update this page and share with all of Jack's friends that Jack went to the Rainbow Bridge a year ago. Jack was a brave, loving little guy and he would have kept carrying on for me even though I knew he was suffering with arthritis and declining health. I thought I was the one that rescued him, when in fact, I think it was he who rescued me. With many thanks to Dr. Jodi for all of her help, I was able to hold dear Jack in my arms while he transitioned from this life into peace. I just hope the life I gave him made up for the rough start he had. Love you, Jack.
