Aunt Deb is really doing so well.. Her liver functions continue to go down as does her creatine levels .. all great signs that she is progressing beautifully ! She is even up to walking 8 minutes on her treadmill !.I must say that made me a little nervous but she says its doctors orders to help regain muscle tone and strength that she has lost after being laid up for so long.She has lost 42 lbs. in one month so they are monitoring that .. She is off her prednisone ( also good news) as she takes 28 pills in the morning and 18 at night. They all come with side effects but just knowing that by her 6 month mark she should only be taking 2-3 pills a day is amazing ! Once agin all of your support both emotionally and to those that helped her cause financially we are forever grateful !One thing for sure you can always count on your Dogster pals .. The gift of prayer is huge in its self !
Now update on Buttercup...
The new meds do seem to be helping ... she is only getting me up once at night with coughing and to go out ! She has just gotten over a three day bout of diarrhea so next week we will get her in for an updated blood test to monitor all the medication and its effect on her kidneys and liver. Her eyes are bright and she is pretty frisky for a gal with a heart a huge as hers is.. Sometimes i get nervous that she will get too excited and cause an artery to rupture.. so no more walks for her * sigh* .. We Thank you all for all the prayers .. as we hope we will have her for a long time yet ! Love you all !

Duffy Deer Buddercup and Aint Debbie, WE is so gwad and gwatefull dat you both is doin' sooooo well! You both were pawrayed fur a whole bunches. We will continue to keep youz in our pawrayers fur a full and complete wecovery on de liver transplant and fur our sweet Buddercup.....de one wid de huge heart in sooo many ways!!!
