We just want to THANK so many of you for all the love , support , prayers , candles lit and rosettes, for my Aunty Debbie. .. For those that don't know she needs a liver transplant due to Hep C that she contracted from a blood transfusion.... she only has about 15% of liver function ... she is on the liver transplant list in Atlanta Georgia Piedmont Hospital ,and has been number 6 on the list since Sept. of 08.... she will be 53 July 1 ...This crisis that she is in at this time is very critical ... she has developed a blood clot in the main artery that feeds her small intestine. Only two ways to treat it , blood thinners and surgery both options are very dangerous in her condition... she was started on blood thinners at Kennestone Hospital in Marrietta Georgia and the were able to get her some what stable and on morphine for the pain ... they are in touch with the transplant team and are hopeful to tranfer her today . If they have to operate the are hoping the would have a liver to transplant at the same time ...
She suffers daily with enormous pain , very difficult to eat and the liver not functioning causes OH SO MANY other physical problems that you have to endure on a daily bases.... We truly Thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts .. the POTP is amazing and your support is so appreciated !! We will keep you updated as we can ...
