My bisit wif Dr. Ferguson today 11/18/08

So heres da story .. Iz been coughing lately and mom being da detective that she is wisked me off to Dr. Ferguson my cardiologist ... So dis is what he said..My heart murmur is a grade three.. My mitral valve is leaking.. the bottom left side of my heart is my ventricle.. and the top left side is the atrium .. in between is da mitral valve that is leaking ... causing blood to back wash into the atrium instead of going through the aorta... this causes fluid thats in our blood naturally to be pushed into the upper part of my lung .. ( hence Congestive heart failure) .... and causes the atrium to become enlarged which presses on my windpipe .. hence " Cough " !! But don't worry .. cause Dr. Fuerguson says hes gonna fix it .. yep .. new heart meds is gonna redirect the blood to go in the right direction " out da aorta ".. dem some smart drugs .. Now no drugs go wif out some sort of side effect .. so i will haf to have extra blood work to monitor things ... Dr. Ferguson sez i can still go fur walks .. and play at day care .. just no real stressful situations ... So i fink i'll weally get all da Royal treatment ... Kisses, Buttercup wif da enlarged heart !
