I'm not gone...not really.
I haven't gone away...I've only gotten bigger.
My eyes, so bright, now shine among the stars.
My voice sings with the wind in winter, as I leap
And dance among the treetops.
I stalk the blown leaves in autumn, and brush the
Flowers gently in the spring.
I come to you in dreaming, on feet grown dreamtime soft,
And lay my cheek against yours, and whisper:
"Peace be with you."
Someday we will play again together, you and I, among the stars. 'Til
then, fear not to love, for your love gave my life meaning. And I
return that love to you...a hundredfold...a thousandfold... Forever.

SORRY TO BE THE PAWTY POOPER OF THE YEAR , PALS.
I REALLY WANNA PAWTY-HARDY, BUT JUST CAN'T SEEM TO MAKE IT PAST 10PM, SO ALL YOU BUDDIES, REMEMBER OLD MAN JAKE AT THE STROKE OF MIDNITE AND KISS A PRETTY PUP FOR ME! ( I SURE HAVE SMOOCHED A FEW IN MY TIME!)
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND A SPECIAL SHOUT TO MY FRIEND JENNIFER...IT'S HER BIRTHDAY TODAY....PARTY LIKE ITS 1991 AND YOU'RE STILL A YOUNG PUPPY!

MOMMY SAYS I SHOULD DO A DIARY, COZ I AM THE PATRIARCH OF THE FAMILY. WELL, I AM THE OLDEST AND WISEST AND SMARTEST AND....WELL , YOU GET THE IDEA!!!!
i done a lot in my prime, but now i deserve the peace and quiet of old age.......but do i get?????? noooooooooooooooooooooooo, that lil upstart, bambi, is always buggin me to splain sumpin to her, or play tug-o-war with her...do i look like i wanna play tug??? well, secretly, i dont mind...she is very perky and cute!!! she talks a LOT too! but since my ears aint so good, that dont bother me any!!! hahahah...well nap time...gotta find an empty spot....YAWWWWWWWWWWWN---- maybe i do another diary some day!!!! hugs from the old man, jake!
