Hope all my "Pals" are doing well. I'm really sorry to see some have gone over that "rainbow bridge"!
I feel sorry for the families left behind as I know they've got to be really sad!

Can't understand why it's taken Mom so long to update my diary?! She had absolutely
nothing else to do! Anyway, there hasn't been a lot of news. Mom got my hair cut really short like Maggie's and for some reason it made me feel braver than ever! I even chase that
cat, Charity! Just as long as she doesn't turn around and chase me back!

Fall

Hello everyone!
I'm going to keep this short 'cause there's not really any news. Really like the fall weather.
Not too hot or too cold. Mom and Dad went off on another trip to a place called the White Mountains.
Again we did NOT get to go! It sounded so pretty and nice, too. Some day maybe
they will let us go again. We are really good travelers, but Dad says he has to get up too
early to walk us. Don't understand the problem!

Mom's been keeping Gracie's hair pretty short. Guess she's realized how much easier
it is to take care of. And she really is looking pretty cute that way. And she seems so
much happier (Gracie, not Mom).

We've met such good friends on this site! Hope you are one of them!

Dog Days!

Lo, everyone!

Mom told me that it is the Dog Days of summer so I guess that I'm supposed to
get more treats or a party. I haven't seen any of that happening!! All I hear about
is how dirty I am and how I need to get all my pretty hair cut off again! Wish I
didn't get all these stickers in me and maybe then they'd leave my hair alone! One
of these days (so I've been told) we're going to get a little yard with fake grass in it.
I hope I like that. I really don't like real grass, kinda' scares me!

Wow! You all should see how short my hair is now. Didn't think Mom would ever
have that done to me!! But I am cooler in the heat we're having and she hardly has
to comb me at all. My ears are still long and so is my tail. I look kinda chopped up
since I was cut with scissors but that's OK. Just not sure I want my pix taken yet.

We have a very old cat that lives in the house with us. She doesn't like anyone but
Dad. She's going over that rainbow bridge this week. I don't really like her 'cause
she scares me, but I'm really sad for her anyway. I know Dad will be very sad. I
think he might bring one of the cats from the pen outside into the house to live. I
hope it's one that likes little doggies like me!

Hey everyone!

Oh, my gosh! You should see what the groomer did to my sister Maggie! She has no hair left!! And she's really cold when she goes outside. Hope they don't take me to have my hair cut! I'm so pretty with long hair! Bet I wouldn't look so good shaved like Maggie. I hate being combed and bathed but would rather have long hair than none!

We have a new neighbor. Their boy dog is a Shih Tzu like us. He's really handsome with really curly hair. His coloring is a lot like mine. I had a play date with him a few days ago. Usually I'm pretty shy with new friends but I wasn't with him. I'm a lot smaller than all of my friends, him too, but I can hold my own when I want to. Of course I'm "fixed", so there was not any bad interaction with him. He's called Poopidoo. Not very masculine if you ask me! We had a lot of fun. I had a little accident on their carpet. Very unusual for me but I was excited. Didn't get in trouble. When we were playing, I started moving around the floor, croutched down so low you couldn't see I had legs. It must have looked really funny to the humans! They kept laughing!! Called me "Thing" which I guess is some funny creature off TV.

January 2nd, 2007!

We had some snow before and after Christmas! I love it! My sister, Maggie, not so much. Christmas was fun for us. We got so many gifts! Now my Mom has to keep taking the cat's presents away from us! I mean they're so small and fit in our mouths just right. I don't see the problem, do you? Does catnip really make you high?

By the way, those dates on my pix are not right, not even close since I wasn't even born yet! Mom gets mad at the camera all the time.
