Long time no bark

Dear Diary,
Sorry I have not written lately. We have been busy. Last night mom took us all for a walk. Yaaay walk! I was kinda cold and foggy, but that was ok with me. We have these new gentle leads that we are using now. Not sure I am a big fan. I want to run free . . as free as the wind, but NOOOOO mom won't let me. So what if I might chase a car or 2 .. . . We didn't get to go for a long walk bc it gets dark so early now. *Sticking tongue out* Winter! When we were almost home we ran into 2 little girls. Oh i just wanted to give em kisses and kisses and more kisses. Then they pet me! I was loving it! My sister Kahlua was trying to get away from them . . it was so funny. I just keep going pet me pet me pet me pet me!!!!!!! Oh it was so much fun. Then when we got home . . . . it was . . . . bath time! boy oh boy were we dirty!!!! All this rain we've had made lots-o-mudd. So we got a walk and now we are all squeaky clean. Ahh, good times.

No walk for the naughty

Ok . . so it really wasn't ME that was naughty . . . but we still didn't get to go for a walk! Weather was above 40 degrees . . . . wind was not blowing us to the next town . . and no snow or sleet . . YAAAAY that means walk! So, mom got out our new gentle leads (cause we are "pullers") , put them on, and out the door we go! Not even 20 seconds later . . . mine broke!!!!!! GRRRRRRRR. Mom made us go back in the house. Whine whine whine!!! We were sooooo excited to go for a walk. We don't get many of them during this time of year . . my fellow WI pals will know what I'm talkin bout! So mom went back to the pet store AGAIN to exchange it. Now I have a brand new one . . . and gues what . . . . . IT'S WINDY! So . . who knows when we'll be able to try them out now! Naughty lead!!!!!

Dogster Plus . . here we come!

Yaay . . I finally got mom to mail in her check to have us on Dogster Plus! I know my puppy eyes could get her to do it! We all can't wait! 10 pictures a pup is not enough for our cute little faces!!!! Plus now we can give out more treats to our pup pals. We are so excited!!!!

Finally . . . nice weather!!!

Whoo hooo . . . it was so nice outside yesterday that mom took my sibs and I out for a walk! It was soooo fun. She said we were really naughty b/c we pulled a lot. We were just so excited to go, we couldn't help it. If anybody was naughty it was Grizz. Out of all the front yards . . . he picked the one with people outside to do his duty! Mom was so embarrassed. She just picked it up and we went on as if nothing happened. BOL . . it sure was funny. She also made Kahlua wear her duck costume. HA ha ha ha ha . . . Grizz and I just had our halloween bandanas on. Now it gets so dark out so early . . . this might have a negative impact on our walking. Grrrrrr.

Brrrr it's cold!!!

Ok, what happened??? It was nice and warm just a few days ago and now it is freezing! I can't get my teeth to stop chattering! Mom had to turn on the heat for us already. She keeps telling me I am so chilly now because I am so skinny. I used to be a chubbo but thanks to some dietary advice from the vet, I am now at a nice and healthy weight. Darn I look good! Pretty soon I'll have to let her put one of my sweaters on me to help keep me nice and toasty! I am not a fan of the winter b/c that means less walks. Mom hates the cold and I don't think my baby sis will be able to walk anyway when it's too cold. Good thing we got lots of blankets in the house. Well, I'm gonna go cuddle up in one now . . . woof at ya later!

Feeling a little better

Well my mom took me to the vet and the diagnosis is a hot spot. It hurt so bad that I growled at the nice lady when she tried to examin me. My growling quickly turned to very loud yelping. I didn't want anybody to touch it!!! She said she couldn't see how deep it was, but still said she knew it was deep, because it was to sensitive. Even too sensitive for topical spray. So now I am on antibiotics to treat it internally. I am still in some pain but am already starting to get back to being myself. I now am cuddling again w/ mom and my brother and sister. My mom has also been puting a cool wet cloth on it when i start to get itchy. That really helps. We've pretty much just cuddled all day long. I wish we could do this everyday. Well that is all for now. I'll keep you all updated on my progress.

I'm not feeling well

I have not been feeling like myself the last few days. I have been scratching and scratching at my neck. I think I scratched it raw. It really hurts but still itches!!!! My mom is really worried about me. She doesn't know why I am acting so funny - like always hiding and shivering. She is taking me to the vet right after she is done with work today. I can tell she is worried. I hope it is nothing serious and that I am better soon. Mom even took vacation from work tomorrow to be home with me! She is so nice. I'll let you all know what the doc had to say. Please wish me well!
