Quick Bio:

Likes:
i like stealing my dad's pants* (*pants = underpants, not trousers) & having a good tussle with them. o, and food. and slamming.

Pet-Peeves:
pants**(**that's really his name - not my fault & not to be confused with underpants), the resident feline! why does he have to constantly remind me that he can jump ten times his height? show off!

Favorite Toy:
pants. i love pants. and pillows. and the slam rag, which i will post later.

Favorite Food:
popcorn & apples & cheezly & cheatin' chicken. i like to eat what the monkeys have, but they always give me mostly ami biscuits with some nice oil, nutritional yeast and soya yoghurt. digestives are good, but only when mum's not looking.

Favorite Walk:
river walk, but the humans down there fishing at the bank depress me. meadow walk is good...especially if it's a hot day and i can submerge myself in manky, stanky muck. that is hilarious good fun.

Best Tricks:
i don't do tricks. i'm just myself, which is cool enough. i speak, sit for my tea or treat (well, it's the polite thing to do) and i piledrive the settee.

Arrival Story:
i came all the way to wiltshire from essex on a snowy day in december with a beautiful laydee named pareen. she took me out of a shelter where i was due to be...hmm...not there anymore. i guess it was pretty bad, because i was jostled a bit and pretty confused for a few days. but, thanks to splendid essex laydee, i am now living it pretty large, geez. at first, i wasn't sure about the cat thing, but i'm quite intrigued by him now. also, there was another very old dog living here when i first arrived and i was kind of confused. obviously, he was top dog, but i didn't understand because he wasn't really up to the job. it's sad...well, my mum & dad were very sad to see the older dog go. he died (at a really old age...um, 126 or sumfink) in june. anyway, i get three walks a day, good food and i'm the man about the house, now. don't tell my dad...or the cat.

Bio:
i think that i was born late september or early october. apparently, i'm meant to be all grown up and mature by now, but i just don't feel like it. i still have lots of puppy in me. i'm quite a nugget!

Forums Motto:
i'm a nugget! give me vegan treats!

i'm not really quite sure what my title is meant to convey - well, i know what it means to me, but i'm not sure if this is the original intent of the phrase. anyway, i'm feeling a bit down because of problems with my insurance providers. they've really disappointed me. see, i had mites in the summer. the vet told me (& mum) that these particular mites were quite bad at the time & she'd seen a few other dogs with the same problem. my mum helped me to complete a claim form for the treatment, only to be informed (six months later), that the claim was being contested. what? the insurers say that i'm prone to skin conditions and, as such, i am ineligible for cover. they issued an exclusion. my mum's been corresponding with them & they can't even remember my approximate date of birth or the anniversary of when i came to live with my folks! how can she trust them? it's the principle of the thing more than the dosh, but, really...they've had about £350 off me (my pocket money saved - wait, i have no pockets!) & we've had sweet f...well, you know the phrase. :) my mum wanted for them to insure pants-the-cat & me because they are the 'most ethical' provider, but they're underwritten by a livestock & equine insurance house, so...to me, that's not too ethical. i may have to leave this blog momentarily & go have a google for some alternatives.
if anyone actually reads my blog, could you offer suggestions? i'm really feeling drab about it.
check you later, kids.

yesterday was the best day in recent memory! first thing in the morning, my da and i went on the long meadow walk. this takes about...well, i don't have a watch. it's a while, though - trust me. i got mucky & marvin, so we went home and had our breakie. to be honest, i'm a bit tired of corn flakes, but, as i said, i was starvin' marvin by that time, so scoffed them down, nonetheless. i was then left alone to have a kip for a couple of hours & when the monkeys returned, i went over to the neighbour's garden to play football with the two greyhounds and the lab cross (names have been kept back to protect the guilty - but, why?). the male greyhound, well, i love him to bits. he was really making a fuss and wouldn't leave me alone, even though i was quite happily obsessed with the football, really. when it became clear that i wasn't interested in socialising (what am i like?) so much as with chasing the ball, my mum tried to take me for a short walkie. ha! she was in for a surprise. about two yards from my mates' house, i lay down in the grass and wouldn't move. couldn't she see that i was shagged out? i tricked her into going back toward home and then i NEARLY tricked her into going back to see my mates. she's a bit cleverer than that, though, and i ended up back at home. drat. today, though, i'm really feeling it. i've only been on one walk and i came right back home for a lie down! well, i'm resting up for cake-baking, you know. :)
