Hi some of my pals probably remember the pic in dogfancy's Two Words section of me that was in there awhile back. It was of me and mommy's nephew Trent. Mommy was so excited.

Well, she just got an email today that they are wanting to put Cooper in there. He is mommy's mother's smooth doxie..so my granny's doggie. He's a red smooth dachshund, and mommy took the pic while she was over there...so keep an eye out for him!

Nope not yet! BOL. Mommy wishes that they'd put Allee and Bama in there...but I told her u can't beat two pics in one yr!

Hey - I have 2 white bulldogs - yours looks a lot like my Eddy. Anyway I think they may have Seasonal alopecia and found one of your pics but its kinda blurry. WONDER IF you have anymore you could email me? You have saved me some grief beczu I have been wondering whats wrong and there are not a lot of white bullies who have this symptom of being pink under the hair loss. anyway, thanks Kris

The before pic on the third page of his photobook is the only one I have when it was bad. That was back before I had a dig camera and our scanner isn't working so I just took a pic of the pic with my dig camer. LOL. If we get our scanner up and going I could get u a better pic....or mail u a copy of mine if u want to pawmail me ur address.
Also look at Brodie's video of his 2nd bday and u can catch glimpses of it too!
I had one vet that I went to on the weekend tell me it was atopic allergies. I went back to my vet two weeks later who told me that it was seas flank alopecia. My vet said his skin got pink instead of dark underneath simply bc he was white and very light skinned anyway!

If it is on both sides, sort of symmetrical with no other symtpoms besides maybe some flaking in the area that is most likely what is wrong. Buy some melatonin at the groc store. 3mg and give it twice a day. THat is what helped Brodie. It can't hurt to try it, and it is safe according to my vet.

Brodie also has food allergy, but that causes his face to be red, constantly licking his paws, and his skin to get all pink all over....NB sw potato and fish dog food cleared that up!

and a lil bit of seasonal allergies. since the pollen is bad his face is a little pink lately.
