Arrival Story:
Lexy & I were at a friend's salon visiting her boyfriend "Oscar". I was told that a client was moving and trying to find a home for her 4yr old Papillon, Dixie. So I adopted her in June 06, and she became Lexy's big sis. She was very shy with Lexy at first. She growled when Lexy brought her a toy. (Although Lexy was hitting her in the head with the toy.) After watching us play fetch for a couple of months I caught her touching the ball with her paw and jumping when it moved. A little later she started chasing it but would not touch it. She finally decided to play when I took her to pet smart and let her pick a toy (her pink bone). Now it's her favorite toy that she does not share. She was a show girl, won a few championships, retired, had a litter, spayed and then adopted during her first four years of life. During that time she was kenneled which definitely affected her potty training. We are still working on it. Since she still has accidents she's styling, her newborn pampers around the house. It's her hot pants.

Bio:
Dixie's such a pretty girl and takes a pretty picture if you can catch her. She hides from the camera. Maybe she had a bad experience with the paparazzi in her show girl days. She is funny to watch outside when she sees a squirrel, cat, chipmonk, etc. She starts barking and kicking her back legs.
