griffin loves to moonwalk! and he loves morning hugs when we wake up.
losing his rubber chicken, the wind-up yoda toy and the fact that his momma hasn't taught him to drive!
his rubber chicken, only after beheading, frisbees, empty plastic Evian bottles and empty toilet paper rolls
anything out of the blender and pizza crusts!
the path alongside beargrass creek - which includes a swim and any other spots where he can stretch out and run
giving big hugs and doing back flips to catch the frisbee
griffin was born with vascular ring anomoly. upon discovery of this birth defect, his breeders planned to shoot him - at 5 weeks of life. i adopted right away upon learning of this, 2-3 days later. his eyes opened with me.
he is a natural frisbee dog , has an absolutely hysterical disposition and is a loyal and devoted friend. he also had one testical lodged in his abdomen requiring surgery which involved a tube down his throat. this was a risky and frightening procedure but he came through with a big old smile on his face! he is truly a wonder dog!
he brought his first gift to me - a full grown male cardinal - when he was 3 months old. it was this sign which told me all i would ever need to know about this little man.

so, here we are. mom told us she was on vacation this week. i'm not sure what that word means but she's still home and that's alright by me! we're outside - no place i'd rather be - and she's typing away on that machine and i'm basking in the sun on her lounge chair. the other chair belongs to my uncle Brad but i don't lay on it as much as i do momma's. i like to watch momma and hope she'll throw the ball for me. she thinks it's slimy and gross. i say it's primed and ready for travel! at least she can't get the ball stuck in the big tree in the backyard like she does my rubber chicken. mom really does need to work on her pitching arm.
so, today, i guess we'll hang out and do laundry and chase sticks and go for walks and bark and run and race up and down the stairs and have a big exciting day!!!

oh, my boy. my sweet wild little boy. griffin, i'll tell you what - there isn't much on this earth which can compare to the zest and passion you have for life. your energy, your spirit and your will are remarkable. to live and walk beside you every day is an inspiration to me. i want to learn from you how to embrace every moment of life and see the bright side in everything. you are momma's most amazing little man. i will always be thankful you and i crossed paths and chose to hang out together.
