Favorite Walk: Anywhere with Mom! Best Tricks: Bang! Speak! Crawl, and SMILE! she's got the prettiest smile you ever did see! Arrival Story: She is my first dog ever, I found her at the San Francisco Animal Shelter (she was originally from an animal shelter in Hawaii and someone dumped her off in CA) and took her home immediately, she and I just clicked. After a rough start where she would destroy things when I'd leave for 5 minutes, Callisto would turn her nose up at any sort of childish behavior like that now! She is the best dog! Bio: She is so smart and so loyal and so loving--to everyone--and everyone loves her. And she's co-dependent on me as hell! She also loves to bully her little brother Oliver and sister Hudson. She is the boss, of all--and she takes on that title with relish. She just won 3rd place in Most Obediant at the Nuts for Mutts 2004 show and brought home the trophy for the Naughtiest Dog (based on a story i wrote about her when we first got her 7 years ago and she destroyed my sister's place when I left). I was so proud of my baby girl!
***4-21-07 Callisto was diagnosed with lymphoma in the beginning of April and did not respond to the chemo. My brave girl passed away to become my guardian angel from heaven much like she was here on earth...thank you Callisto for being the best dog i could have ever hoped for in my life. there will be no other like you.
