Arrival Story:
My partner and I went to Bide-a-wee in NCY looking for a "small" dog. I said "I know the one I want, but you'll never go for it." He said "I want one you'll never go for." We questioned where each ones choice was--both in the back... I said "Go stand in front of the pen of your choice, I'll go the other way and do the same." We both, of course, ended up in front of Annas pen. The rest, as they say, is history...

Bio:
Anna had been turned in to the CACC, a kill shelter, in NYC. She was 4 years old, in perfect health, known to be a purebred, rough coat Anatolian Shepherd. It is believed that her owner died and someone for the estate dumped her off. He gave a pretty knowlegable account of her history. Thankfully, she was rotated for 5.5 weeks and not killed. When her "time was up" the shelter called Bide-a wee. They rescued her. Four days later, she rescued us.
