My Tail of Devotion for Magpie

The minute I laid eyes on Maggie when she was 9 weeks old, I knew we were kindred spirits. It proved true from the first day. I instantly knew what she needed, when she needed it and how much she wanted. She returned my devotion with equal zeal, learning on the first day where to potty and with very few exceptions she always knew. I find her to be extraordinary and so do her babysitters. She is a bit of a beasty girl, at 3.4 lbs she believes that she is a rottweiller. She talks to us until she gets what she wants, but she is so darn cute that one cannot help but give her as much love as possible and let her have her way. At the same time, she knows I'm Mom. So she has been part of my life for 8 years now and I would not be without a minute of the time together. Well, maybe the times she tears into stray kleenex, her one vise. How do you spell love?
