Arrival Story:
My husband was standing outside on a cold day, talking to a friend who is an animal control officer. My husband tapped on the window by my chair and motioned for me to come outside. He pointed to the back of the officer's truck, and I saw an emaciated little terrier sitting there with his head hanging down. He was so filthy and matted, he looked like he had sunk about as low as a dog could go. He was so pitiful that it was a few seconds before I realized it was a wire fox terrier. I said, "Hi, sweetie." He stood up on shaky legs and squinted at me, then slowly wagged his tail. I almost cried when I heard my husband behind me say, "My wife wants that one."

Bio:
It was a long, hard road for Cap, but today he is bouncing with energy and has no trouble keeping up with our younger wire fox terrier, Tell. They are a handsome pair when they're romping around together. Though there was a lot of expense and sleepless nights, helping this little fellow recover was the best money we ever spent, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I now call my husband Cap's Angel.
