Arrival Story:
I have always wanted a Maltese, just thought I would never get one. I moved into my first apartment in Feb and decided around mid-Feb that I wanted a dog. I started to do some serious research on breeds, within a day or so I had decided that if I was getting a dog I wanted a Maltese. Then the fun started of trying to find a breeder. Within a few weeks I had narrowed it down to 3 breeders. I visited all 3 of them. Two of them were terrible! I was starting to feel like I was never going to find a good breeder. I went to see the 3rd breeder and she was great. I was thinking it was going to be a couple of months before I could get a puppy and she told me she had 2 females that would be ready to go in about a month. Originally I had picked the other female puppy but on my second visit I changed my mind. They had both had baths that day and the one was scared to death all she wanted to do was go back in with her mommy. Lexi though wasn't really that scared because she was too curious about seeing all of the new things. I was hooked. I could not believe how slow that month seemed to go by!

Bio:
Lexi was the only puppy in her litter. She was born on January 25, 2004. The first time I saw her she was 6 weeks old. I saw her again when she was 8 weeks old and that is when I really feel in love with her. She was so curious about everything. I got to bring her home on Easter Sunday. It is hard to remember what life was like before Lexi! She is one spoiled puppy. She is not afraid of anything and that scares me! She loves to go for rides in the car. She has recently discovered the joy of sticking her head out the window when we drive. LOL! Also check out www.spoiledmaltese.com!
