Travis inspires local art work.......

Hey, check this out. Mom took me for a walk about town recently and discovered this really cool sculpture on a corner. Apparently someone thought I was so good looking, they felt inspired to create a masterpiece in my honor. The resemblence is quite amazing, don't you think? Mom had to take some pictures to show all my friends. I also made sure to mark it with my scent before we continued our walk so all other dogs walking by would know how much I approved of the whole thing........

My Halloween Adventure

I REALLY got myself in the doghouse by playing a trick on my Mom on Halloween. She took me into town with her that day and left me in a fenced back yard where I was SUPPOSED to wait for her. I decided I would rather check out the neighborhood so I wiggled out thru a loose board and found out HOW BIG sub-divisions and CITIES really are! It was fun for awhile, but after dark a bunch of monsters began roaming around and I couldn't remember how to get back home. There were lights and cars and people everywhere and I was so confused, I ran and ran, and finally realized I would have to enlist the help of a STRANGE human. I know I am a pretty big dog and some humans wouldn't know what a sweetie and gentleman I really am, so I put on my best lost dog act, and asked a cute little girl if she would help me get back to my Mom. I also didn't want to spend the night out alone in the cold with so many spooky things going on. I just wish I could have let Mom know I was safe in a dog lovers home while she was imagining the worst that might have happened to me. Next day they somehow figured out a way to call my Mom and she came and got me. I must have really gotten turned around because she said I was 4 miles away from the right yard. We were both so happy we had found each other again, although I think I have been grounded for life! I wish I could thank all the humans in the world who love dogs enough to help out a strange dog who just made a really BIG mistake. Woof! Woof! Thanks for helping me get back home!
