Arrival Story: I was 12 years old and had begged my parents for a dog for a long time. I knew I wanted a White and Buff Cocker Spaniel, and my mom wanted a girl dog. We went to a few shelters, but left dissapointed because our dog was not there. My mom saw an ad for cocker spaniels in a pet store in Queens, we took the trian out, and found our baby girl. She had been in the pet store for a long time, and was sharing a cage with a cumberlan spaniel. She wimpered and cried in our arms and said "take me home!" She smelled like an entire zoo. We had to go to a friends birthday party that day, so we asked them to hold her until later that day. We got to the party and no one wanted to sit next to us because we smelled really bad. I think I was more excited than the Birthday girl that day. Baby was so happy to see us again, and she wimpered the whole way home. That is why her name is baby.

I was tagged by my brother Charlie! Here are the rules of this game of tag incase you have never gotten the chance to play. When you're tagged you post 7 random facts about yourself and the rules in your diary. Then pick 7 fur friends and let them know they have been tagged. Post their names in your diary. You can either tag by giving rosettes or by sending pawmail!!
Here are 7 facts about myself.
1. I never liked baths. After awhile I would hide under the bed and growl when I saw my family preparing to give me a bath.
2. When I would go to the dog run I would sit on a bench with the other people. I would NEVER play and run around with the dogs.
3. I once rolled by ball under the sofa (which was my favorite game). For once my family did not get the ball for me. What did I do? I sat up all night and dug a whole in the sofa to retrieve my ball. My family did not think it was cute.
4. I was pretty friendly with other dogs, but I hated other female cocker spaniels and would growl and snarl at them whenever I saw them. On the other hand, I always flirted with boy cocker spaniels, even when I became an old maid.
5. I love my red ballie. Please don't touch it. It has a bell inside.
6. I loved meeting new people, getting them to pet me and give me lots of love.
7. I love riding in cars and sticking my head out of the window.
I tagged Bono, Abby, Kaden, Maxie, Emma, Niko, and Buddy. Sorry if any of you have already been tagged. You don't have to play again if you don't want too. I’ll understand.
I went to heaven in September, but my family thought I should post a message here because Christmas was my FAVORITE time of the year! I loved Thanksgiving because I would score all types of food... My family's dinning room table is glass so every Thanksgiving while they would eat their food I would be right there, imploring them to share with my most pitiful sad eyes! And Christmas was so great because my family always wrapped some presents for me! I would watch them open a few, and then get a little annoyed at being left out, and they would say, "Baby take your present" and point to one which was for me. I was also so happy that they had not left me out, and that there were specific presents for me to unwrap too! Sometimes when I ran out I would try to steel some of their presents, hehehe
Tonight we lost a truely lovely dog. Baby was a wonderful dog. She loved her family and always wanted to be near them. Baby will be sorely missed by all of her friends and family. We had her for 14 years, and we'll miss her dearly.
