Career Changed

Chappelle was Career Changed October 1st 2007 for Allergies and Distraction. He is coming home to help me raise more future guide dogs.

Recall

Chappelle returned to GDB for formal training on July 14th, 2007.

Recall Date

Well today we found out that Chappelle and his sister Cordova are being recalled on July 14th. So that's when they are going back into formal training. I am going to get another puppy on the same day, I think it will be a male yellow lab, but we will see.

Update~

Well I havn't written in quite awhile! February 5th was my first birthday. It was super fun, we had cake and I got some new stuff. I am almost fourteen months now. So I might go back into formal training pretty soon. Maybe in the summer. I am doing pretty good, and have been having a lot of fun. I am enjoying going to school, and spring break is almost here. That's about it for now. Just thought I would update since I havn't in awhile.

New Years!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! This is Prince Chappelle speaking. Yet another holiday to tell you about. On new years eve we went to my sister Cordova's house, for a party! It was a lot of fun. I jumped when all the poppers went off at midnight, then I was naughty and tried to eat all the confetti that came out of them. Then we had a big sleepover and in the morning we got to go bowling! That was a lot of fun too. Well I will write back again later.

Just wanted to let you all know that today I had a bath it was kinda fun, except when I was done, my mom took a bunch of pictures of me , and put them on my dogster page!!! I am humiliated. Well I'll write back later.

Hi there, this is prince Chappelle! Christmas was the best holiday yet! It was my first Christmas and Santa was very good to me, I love that guy. I got a very pretty blue stripy bed, a huge rope toy, and a big nylabone. I got to open my presents first so that while everyone else was opening their gifts, I got to lay on my bed and play with my toys. I was very happy and I love my Christmas collar. It is red and white and has little mints hanging off of it. I wanted to wear it all the time. It was so much fun. I can't wait until next year, but hopefully next year I will be with my new blind person, or at least in doggy college learning about how to guide my blind person. Well gotta go play with my toys!!! I write another update later. Bye!!!

Almost Christmas******

Hey there this is Prince Chappelle speaking. Everything is just fine in the kingdom. I like these things called holidays. I love christmas especially! The tree is pretty cool, I like to watch the cats roll the balls around after they have dismantled the Christmas tree. It's almost Christmas break, and that means that I don't have to go to school for two weeks! I met Santa Claus last night. He was really nice, and he said that I am going to get a lot of presents! He said that I have been really good! And soon after Christmas will be my one year birthday. On February 5th. Well I will write back later!

Thanskgiving!!!

Oh my goodness I love this holiday! It is my favorite so far! The turkey has been in the oven all day, and it smells so good. To bad I'm not allowed to have any people food. My mom's other dog Tiny gets to have a bunch of turkey, he told me so. It is really not fair. Except Tiny said that the stuffing makes him bloated, not sure that would be to good. I just watched the national dog show on tv with my mom and it was so cool! I really like the toy poodle that won, she is pretty. Well I'll write back later! Happy Thanksgiving!

I ate a book

Well my mommy is not so pleased with me at this very moment. You see I ate a book yesterday. And a candle. And a bunch of leaves. I'll admit it was not one of my greater moments. The book was really good and my mommy just left it on the floor, I took a few licks and it was pretty good so I ate the whole cover off of the thing. I also nibbled a few pages also before I was caught. Then later I pulled a candle off of the table and ate a little of that. My mom caught me quicker that time though. By that time she was onto me. And I ate some leaves while I was outside once. So you see I am obviously going through a eating random objects phase. It is an act of rebellion, agaisnt what I'm not sure.
