sad morning...

As my person was approaching the school bus stop with her 7 year old daughter she saw a lot of stopped cars and people gathered around. As she got closer she noticed a boy crying a lot and scooters on the ground. When she got out of the car that is when she noticed the big black lab in the road. Just laying there. He had already crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The person that hit him was just in shock and the boy was so upset. His best friend just died. Someone carried the dog out of the road and laid him in the grass. Several children and adults saw this happen. I think this should be a reminder to everyone out there, please slow down. Things can happen so fast. I don't think it is that important to speed to work or school. If you're late then that is just to bad. Speed limits are posted for a reason. As a dog I might not understand that I should not be in the road following my boy. I just want to play and don't know that cars can hurt me. My person will always remember that poor dog laying in the road and the very sad boy that didn't want to leave him. What a sad morning.

I really don't like thunder and that is all it has been doing lately. I'm not a fan of most loud noises. Is anyone? Well I have to go try to squeeze my body under the bed now. I'll write more later:)

This was not the best day in the world for me. There are so many people doing fireworks:( This really SCARES me! My person had to go to work and thought we were all fine downstairs. Well, while she was gone I could hear fireworks going off outside and I ran to the bathroom to hide. When I was in the bathroom my tail accidentally made the door close and I ended up being trapped in the bathroom the entire time my person was gone!! I thought it would be a good idea to scratch at the door, but that did not work. I tried to use my nose to open the door, but that just hurt my nose:( I was really hoping that Milligan, Morgan or the cats could let me out, but they could not. When my person got home she could hear me whimpering in the bathroom and when she opened that door I was so happy! She could tell that I had been a nervous wreck and my nose was bleeding! She cleaned up my nose and gave me lots of water. I did a number on the bathroom door, but those things can be fixed. My person was just really glad that I was ok. My nose is still healing(i hate having medicine put on it!), but I am ok:) I wish people would not do fireworks or at least not the noisy kind. These types of things should be left to professionals and just 1 day of the year not several days before and several days after! Had to get that off my chest. Thanks for reading this~ until next time~ KODI:)
