It has been a crazy Summer! I used to be known as Fat Willy, but I lost so much weight that now they call me Skinny Willy! I lost like 5 pounds!
We have a new member of the household too. This one is not a dog, but a baby human. He smells weird, but I guess he is OK. He keeps the peoples busy around here, leaving me alone to rule my kingdom. I rule the front room, where the peoples wash their laundry. I have my own bed in there and everything.
Sometimes I want to come inside and sleep with my owner Paul, but usually when it is warm I like to stay outside and sleep there. It's nice and cool out there!
Yo! Willy here. I had a cool Christmas this year. I really made out big! I got a bunch of treats, a new leash, 2 new collars, a blanket, even a new ball to chase around the house!
Now that Christmas is over, I will be glad to have my Daddy around the house more. I really like having him at home, but what I love the most is guarding him. I mean, he needs a tough guy like me to keep him safe from all of the bad guys out there. The mailman, delivery peoples, the neighbors, peoples like that. I need to keep him safe by barking and growling and snarling at them!
Well, as of October 2nd, I have been at this house for 2 years. I was adopted through DRNA(Dachshund Rescue of North America) from New York to Maine. It's been a tough journey, but I have settled in quite well here.
