This time, I've let Murray tell you a little bit about our summer and about what we'll be doing in the coming weeks.

Check out his page, I may beat on him quite a bit, but he can be pretty smart once in a while.

Lots of licks from me to you!!!

Spring is coming!

Hurrah!!!

It looks like spring is coming. I haven't been shivering as much, and we have gone outside a few times without losing toes, so I think spring is finally on its way. My mom even pointed out a few tulips to me. Then I bit the top off of one tulip, and she didn't look as happy anymore. I'll try not to do that next time. Oops!

There is also a bird in our attic, I think. I hear him through the fan in the bathroom and I have been standing in the bathroom and barking up at him. I am not sure what he is doing and every time my dad goes up there he disappears. Murray and I are devising a plan to get him out. No birds inside, thank you very much. I prefer to chase them outside.

My folks have been discussing gggrrrrrdening lately. It sounds like it takes place outside! That always makes me happy. Hopefully all this mud will dry up before we start this gggrrrrrdening because I do not like being wiped down when we come inside. Ick.

Happy Spring everyone!

My Adventures

I have been a busy dog this winter- what with the move and visiting friends. It is tough to keep my social schedule straight. Our puppy cousin, Fletcher, came and stayed with us for a few days while his parents went to the Barkamas, or that is what it sounded like when Fletcher told me about it. We had a blast and I only had to beat him up a few times. He is a little crazy, though, and really loved the snow, so he and Murray played outside while I watched them from the window. I am counting the days until spring so that I can finally run around outside again (and yes, I can count). I hate being cold!

Murray and I also went to Miami for the weekend with the folks and stayed at a fancy hotel on the beach! We loved it! I think we should move to Florida so that I won't be cold anymore. Murray and I ran up and down the beach and even into the waves all afternoon. I sniffed so many odd smells that we don't have in Boston. I can't wait to go back. The only problem was the sand, I hate sand in my nose and eyes and ears. For all you pups out there, DO NOT EAT SAND. It makes you cough.

I also have been doing my therapy dog visits, and I am an official "Caring Canine" now. I love doing my tricks and visiting the nursing homes and hospitals, but especially the treats afterwards. Everyone is always so happy to see me and pet me! I am happy to share my licks with them too.

Murray, as usual, has been tormenting me, but at least he is entertaining while mom and dad are at work. He has been getting a little feisty, though, and keeps trying to steal my bones. Grrrrrr. Little brothers are soooooo annoying.

Stay warrrrrrrmmm all you pup pals!

BIG BIG news

Our stuff has arrived!! Most importantly, all my toys that have been missing for about 4 months while we have been moving have reappeared. Every day the folks unpack boxes and every day we find our old toys! I had a meaningful reunion with my old friend Gabby the giraffe. I even remember her name. I can pick her out of a lineup, or a pile of toys, if you just ask me about her.

I also have a lot more furniture to jump up and down on. I love it! And now that we have all our pots and pans back again I am hoping that my mom and dad will start cooking and dropping food again. Please please please...

In other news, last night there was an owl outside of our bedroom window. I heard it hooting and kept waiting to see what it was, but finally I'd had enough. I barked at the window and haven't heard it since. Hrumph. That'll teach him to disturb my naps.

Our New Home

We moved this weekend to our new home and I am very excited! It is much bigger than the apartments we have been living in and the VERY BEST part is that I have my own backyard! At least, my parents say that the big space in the back is all mine! I made sure to go around the last couple of days and mark any spots as mine, I don't want to miss a bush, tree or blade of grass. That is very important.

We already had our friend Fletcher, the bichon frise come visit and he thought it was tops too! We are on the hunt for a squirrel who has been visiting the yard while we're inside. I am confident we'll catch him though.

So far things in New England are good, but I have been seeing some of my sweaters coming out of boxes and that does NOT make me happy. I'd rather shiver so much I can hardly walk than wear those awful things. Unfortunately, my mom doesn't agree. I am sure she'll post some pictures of me in them. Yuck.

I'll try to keep you posted on news in my life! For Halloween, Murray and I dressed up as Red Sox players. The folks had costumes made especially for us! I was Manny Ramirez and Murray was Danny Ortiz. He is a two pounds heavier than me after all.

Go Sox!

Goodbye Big City...

So.... we moved to Boston.

Unfortunately, my brother Murray came along, but at least he keeps me company while Mom and Dad are working. I really liked living in New York city since I met tons of dogs on the street and at the dog parks, and on Sundays we had our Brussels Griffon gang that played in Central Park. The apartment was huge and we had a long hallway to play in when the weather was yucky outside or it was late at night. The neighbors might not have appreciated me running up and down the halls with my squeaky ball, but I sure did.

The new place isn't all bad, though, since we have our own backyard! I've had a blast exploring the new digs, and Mom and Dad keep talking about a new backyard all our own when we move into our house. I can't wait!

I don't have much news to tell, although we took a trip to Cape Cod a couple of weeks ago and we went swimming for the first time! I loved the beach and the ocean, Murray and I wrestled and ran in and out of the waves. I hope we can go back soon. When my folks upload the pictures we'll attach them to Dogster.

In the meantime, I'd love to meet more doggy pals!
