Happy Birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday and I had sooooo much fun!!!!! I FINALLY turned 8 and now MAYBE my mom won't think of me as her "little girl." However, I know that itsn't going to happen..... I am her princess and there is nothing that will change her mind (and it's not like I want to change her mind). My mom went to the dog bakery and got me this DELICIOUS chocolate cake! It was soooo good! Yummy! Some of my neighborhood pals came by and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me! On Sunday, I am going with my pals to the dog park so we can play ALL day! I can't wait!

A new brother!

Guess what everyone? I got a new brother yesterday! He is also a cocker spaniel....like me! My mommy went to the pound yesterday because she was looking for a companion for her father. Well, she ran into my new brother!!! I can't wait to meet him. My mommy says he is so sweet and cute! The best part of his adoption was he was going to be put down the NEXT DAY!!! My mom got there just in time! We all are anxious for his arrival!

Mommy's little angel!

Before Diamond, I had a Poodle named Ridge. He passed away and I felt my whole world had come tumbling down. He was my everything! I had him for 12 years. He was my best friend, my only friend, as a child. When he passed, I fell into a deep depression. This is where Diamond came into my life.
My friends aunt had adopted Diamond and had her for only a few days and decided she couldn't handle a puppy. My friend had called my parents and asked if she could give Diamond to me, but they said no because I suffered too much with the passing of Ridge. Thank God my friend called me and told me about Diamond. I will admit that I was hesistant because I felt I wasn't ready for a new dog since Ridge had only been gone for two months. I told her to bring her to my house so I could see her, and when I saw how beautiful she was with her pink bow around her neck.... I couldn't resist! She helped me over my depression and now I couldn't imagine my life without her. If she hadn't come into my life when she did, I don't know where I would be.... I LOVE HER THAT MUCH!
