Wholy Schmoly... 120 furless relatives; and a few of us furries added in (to make it interesting)... and we're going to celebrate the furless Grandma's 80th birthday too...

Wowsers...

It all starts tomorrow... whoo hoo!

The Furless sister bought a house and Mommy says she needs to go 'interfere' there.... Piccy gets to stay home with Daddy (the first time she's been on her own without ME... hmmmmm).

We'll be back in a few weeks.

Piccadilly knows her way home in the dark!

It's warming up so much here that we practically have a 'lake' in the back (Mommy unknowingly left the front gate open the other night (already dark outside) and P'dilly was in the yard and I was finishing a walk { Piccadilly had to go into the yard because she was sopping up the water} with Mommy (our usual route through the school yard).

... anyway... little munchkin must have run up the stairs (didn't bother to scratch at the door to be let in - Daddy was home)... over the deck... down the outside steps and off... she would have had to go down our one block - turn right and go to the school yard (about 3 blocks... past the barking dog place and the 3 Pomeranian house) and turn right in the school yard and go to the back gate - through all that water (instead of ALL the way around along the busy street side, thankfully)...

When we got back to the house and Mommy and Daddy realized she wasn't there - they sure were worried... Daddy went to see if she'd gone to visit Fergus {NAH... That would be ME... hehehe}...

Well... Mommy thought 'what would Piccy do' and went to look at the back gate... awwwwwwwwwwww ... there she was... little sopping wet and bedraggled puppy waiting on the other side.

Mommy was in such a hurry to get her dried off that she didn't even get a picture (now that's amazing... bol)... Anyway... I can just picture her running as fast as her little legs would go... with her hair flying...thinking "If I just go this way, I know I'll catch Vwonica."

Jeesh... even I was worried... what would I do without her, now that I've gotten used to her????

Good to be back home.

It is great of have every fur and furless back at home and on a normal schedule... we were getting a little weary of all the traveling back and forth; but liked having the furless brother and Grandma take turns spoiling us (but, we think Mommy know us best;)

Spring is springing; finally... even though Mommy had to buy tulips for inside the house (for the time being she says). Actually, Piccy and I don't mind the squishy mud and wet feet; but Fergus likes to avoid the puddles... what a smarty!

Take care out there:)

Happy Easter... we'll 'bark' at you in a couple of weeks.

We are going to Grandma's tomorrow... and then the 'rents are leaving for Victoria (to celebrate Daddy's furless Mommy & Daddy's 80th birthdays)... that's a Wowsers!

Piccadilly and I are going to have different doggy sitters (HAHA... they don't really sit on us)... I know I'll be OK- but Piccy isn't used to being left! She has me though... she'll be fine.

So... we're heading on the highway tomorrow... and should be back on April 4th or 5th.

Take care pups.. please stay healthy and happy:)

Home-made Liver treat recipe (thanks Fergus' Mommy)

We'll do ALMOST anything for these:

1 lb. raw liver
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 cup corn meal (or flour)
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

To your Blender Add:
- Cut up raw liver and 1 egg... blend to a paste.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well. (The batter will be very thick)
- Pour onto a small cookie sheet that has been lined with parchment paper (this allows for MUCH easier removal from baking sheet).
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour for chewy treats (longer for crisper).
- Remove 'square' from pan and cut treats while still warm (~1"x1")
- Liver treats should be stored in the freezer
(Mommy keeps a few unfrozen in a little tin on the counter (if we're lucky enough to not have eaten them all up)... I sure would like to figure out how to get up there.... *licking lips)

Please vote for #6 - those girls are running so hard they just need to win!

Wonder what the 'rents did BV (Before Veronica) bol.

There's a Dog Show In Town.... Humph!

The 'rents have been busy going to see all the different kind of doggies, there. They come home smelling kinda' strange, but they say we're still Best In Show to them... (whew). They were talking about a fancy shih tzu, named Kelsey.. and came home with pictures and oohs and aww's... but, then her Mommy gave Mommy their business card and said, "If you ever want a real dog... give us a call!".... HUMPH AND DOUBLE HUMPH.... what snobs! Just because we're mixed breeds (well, she's a mixed up hooman!).

Mommy was growling this afternoon when the laptop wouldn't work right for our Oscur Event... Daddy quit doing taxes and gave up the main 'puter (I think he was happy to use that 'reason'... bol).

Things are getting kinda wet outside... not mucky, YET, but we know that day is coming... it is light for our morning walks.. and it would be light for our evening ones - if we got them [huh? huh? huh?].

We did get to hang out with Fergus this morning... he gave me a rather frisky welcome and then Mommy wondered why I didn't want to go back inside... hmmmmmmmmm..... excuse me; it's not MY problem if yoYOU have spring fever!

I hear there is More Dog Show tomorrow.... good golly... I'm going to have to bark with Piccy and come up with a good way to protest all this abandonment!
