I had fun...

I had fun at my Grandma's, but am very happy to be home. I am getting along better with her cat, TAZ.... (I'm being trained by Fergus who had two cat sibs. that he makes sure I don't hassle --- It's paying off Fergus).....I used to take over the bed and sleep with Grandma; but we shared this time..... me on one side.... Taz on the other, and Grandma in the middle.... hehehehe....

Taz even drank out of the same water bowl as me.... whew - normally he would prefer the toilet!!!!!! .... Grandma says that by the time Mommy and Daddy come back from Hawaii I'll think I Belong to her (I'll let her think that, but I love my Mommy too much to let that happen :-).

Mommy had a relaxing time.... visted with the furless bro. and his girlfriend; saw Jian Gomeshi (CBC celebrity) as part of International Week at the U of S (And, got to see where Furless Bro. spends most of his time; in the Philosophy Dept.... Mommy liked that (said all that encouragement and money was paying off in him getting his Masters); her and Daddy went and saw the movie BORAT (OMD - ROFBOL).... it is so ridiculous she had to laugh.... he offends Everybody he can think of :-(went to the Mendel Art Gallery with the furless bro. and the conservatory ; then came back and got me and ate at Grandmas.... and home we went....

I do love my home... I have to check my favourite toys and run around when we get back.... just to let the house know I'mmmm BACK!

Better not let this get tooo far out of date....

Let's see.... the 'rents went to square dancing on Friday night.... boring (especially for me)...

Saturday I got to go play with Fergus (for a long time) because Daddy took me over .... and stayed for coffee.... and visiting.... and more playing for me..... I got up on the bed with the two cats; Lil' Brandi and Big Riley (Fergus' Dad figures I'm determined to make them valentine friends)... it lasted a little while.... but Brandi didn't like me that close :-(

I tried again Sunday morning; Mommy left me there while they went to church.... but, I was rejected by the cats so had to suck up to Fergus' Daddy to make me feel better (he's such a great soft touch :-)

Mommy has been trying to get her dogster page fixed.... but, that means deleting all my super slide shows..... that REALLY Sucks! Look out Top Dog - there's a limit to Mommy's patience - and you're reaching it!

Furless s-in-law is home from the hospital (yeahhhhhhh - hope she's alllll fixed and never has to go back!).... wish I could say the same for her Mommy (hugs and prayers for you - you have a tough road ahead, but we know you're tough xoxoxo)

2. It's like a whole new world of penpals... some better than others
3. I don't really believe Veronica knows who her friends are on dogster; but I do... and they are friends (if only as penpals)
4. Veronica's Valentine romance is harmless and cute. His Mom and I are enjoying dressing up our 'fur child' kids pages and acting on the Dogster stage... period.... like Duncan's music is the same as his Mom and Dad's anniversary song :-)))) Sweet Huh!

Geez...

Mom - was that a rant....

Well - most of the matts are out of my hair.... they sure do come on quickly.... but, it was nice to be petted and groomed for hours by Mommy.... well.... maybe the first hour; there is a limit to being pampered!

No Fergus play today :-(.... there was no answer, so I'm just layin' around the house.

Mom is still trying to fix my page on Dogster (they really messed things up)... and the music she wants to put on she can't find ....

'I think I'll just go have a nap....

A new discovery....

Hey - it only took a year - but, I've learned that there is paper (lovely, rippable, get Mommy to chase me paper) in those little buckets all around the house.... you don't have to wait until something falls on the floor - or jump up on the table and score a napkin; hehehehehe...

And - my buddy Fergus has decided he can't, won't, will not 'what part of NO don't you understand play in his lovely tartan coat. Talk about Cairn stubborn (no matter HOW much I nagged him - and I tried - he wouldn't play until he took his coat off.... then we had a good wrestling match:-)

Now, Mommy is trying to make her pictures animated.... I think that means you'll see me artificially blinking my eyes, wiggling my ears (and other parts) and, I guess, the dogster sky is the limit! Yikes!

My friend Elizabeth (who likes to feed me so much) is talking about getting a cat from the SPCA - she's lonely:-(

End of January.....

Mommy has discovered that if she leaves her slippers off - I'll give her a foot (lick) massage while she's working on the computer.... does this mean I have a foot fetish... hehehehe; or her....

Not her, I guess, she wears slipper A LOT ;)


NO playtime with Fergus today - watch me pout and maul Brown Bear instead! I think, when his 'rents have to go out of town they should 'board' him with us :-)

Mommy spent the WHOLE evening proof-reading Daddy's work project .... whew.... it looked like it needed a lot of work!

And, she's been looking at something called seed cataloges and then looking outside at the snow banks :-).... mumbling something about spring :-)

We're at Grandma's

We'll be here a couple of days; depending on how much shopping Grandma and Aunty S. want Mommy to do.... hehehehe.

There was a lovely full moon outside this morning.... big and bright - if you're out there - ya may as well look around :-)

I've had my morning hiss and rumble meeting with the cat Taz - and ran off with Mommy's bra (some things work better than others) so she'd play catch me if you can... she's so observant though, Grandma had to call her and tell her what I was doing!!!

Full day today....

- well, full day for Mommy anyway.... she went shopping with Grandma and Aunty first thing in the morning (leaving me to get some satisfaction from 'visiting' with the cat that barely tolerates me; humph.

- they didn't get back until later in the afternoon and were all giggly about the great buys they got and how much fun it was going for lunch and shopping for Aunty's Mother of the bride (& groom) dress - she won't outshine the brides, but she'll look HOT;)

- romance must have been in the air, because they watched 6 hours of Pride and Prejudice tonight - now it's finally bed time :-)

That Darn Cat...

Just won't wrestle with me.... I keep trying to convince him that it would be fun.... and he will take off and chase me sometimes - whoo hoo ... then I have a great run.... and then Taz bats at me with his clawless paw... then I bark (and Mommy makes me stop!).... says I'll wake the neighbours.

I love Grandma's (& playing with Buddy Boy and the cat Taz)...

But, there's no place like home:-).... I've stuck my face in a familiar snowbank; played my birthday cake and howled along with it a few times; found my favourite little ball hidden away - played with it - and hidden it away again .....
