Arrival Story:
SB's Mom says: I had been wanting a lab pup for a long time, finally we decided to get one. We looked in the paper and found her that day and got her the next. She was the runt of the litter, but I did not care one bit. Stella and her sister were the last two there. She is the first dog I have had since moving out of my parent's house in 2001. She is the love and joy of my life (other than my husband, of course)! I don't think I could ask for a better pup. However, I do want to get her a brother or a sister in the next 6 months or so.

Bio:
I love everything about life - as most labbies do! Especially BONES! And Water too! I LOVE Water. And I LOVE tennis balls! And sleeping in the big bed (mom and dad's kingsize).

My first swim!

Hey pups! I finally had something really exciting to talk about, so I just had to start my diary. Let me start from the beginning.

I was born July 23, 2006, and my first time to the water was when I was only a couple months old. It completely freaked me out. It was cold and moving fast (a creek in the country). I didn't like it one bit even though my Aunt Maggie was lying in it.

Several months went by and the weather changed to cold and back to warm. Dad thought we would try the water thing again. We went to my grandparent's place out in the country again, and out to their lake. Mom and Dad tried thowing some sticks in the shallow water for me to get, but I didn't want anything to do with it.

BUT this past weekend, Mom and Dad took me to play with my bestpup East, and his Dad took all of us on his 4-wheeler and a trailor down to the Resevoir. At first, I didn't know what to think of it. Crazy East just ran right into the water! I couldn't believe how brave he was. He seemed to be having fun and everybody was telling me I should try it, so I bunny-hopped over to where East was playing in the water......and I started to like it! I ran fast back over to Mom and Dad to show them and they decided to throw a stick for me in the water. It was really fun. We played for awhile, but the stick started to get weak from me chewing on it as I swam back to the bank. Eventually, the stick sank and I even dove down under water to get it! Mom was sooo excited that I figured out how to dive on my first swim day! It was so much fun and I just can't wait to do it again!!!
