I love birdies - dry and still
I don't kill them, but I have a skill.
Of finding them in the yard so dead
I pick them up by their itty-bitty head.
Then as I stand on the porch to go in
With little wings hanging down my chin
Mommy screams with oh so much terror
As she looks down upon me - quite the bearer!
Then POOF like a flash my birdie is gone!
Her we go again! Back to the lawn!
