We got Dumbledore just after I finished the work on my MBA. I'd been out of work for a few months, and had been talking about getting a dog for a couple of years. It seemed a good time to get one, since I'd be home with him to train him, and he'd be good company for me as I worked on starting up my business.

And he's awesome company. He likes to be where the people are. He sits on our feet when we watch TV. He adores going out for walks, and is finally getting pretty good with the house training.

One problem though, he wasn't a good traveler. Every car trip induced barfing. Poor guy, he was incredibly unhappy. And my plan was to take him with me to the store every day! But a funny thing happened when I started taking him to the store every day.

He got used to it. After barfing on every car trip for months! He threw up the first day, and very rarely since. He sits in the back in his carseat and just hangs out.

Yay for Dumble!
