The Dog:Her first name was McKenize but the people who had her thought that she played too rough and so gave up to the Utah Humane Society.
The people: We had just moved to Utah in June of 1993, and we adopted a wonderful little Heeler (Aussie Cattle dog) mix, but the day after we adopted her she was diagnosised with Pravo. The Vet did everything they could for her, but she left this world a week later.
The Joining: November 13, 1993, we (the people) were ready to try our luck at adopting again. We had liked the little Heeler attitude so we thought another heeler would be nice. So we took a couple of them out, but they did not seem to fit what we were looking for. Then we saw this McKenize although she did not have the Heeler look her paper work said she was part Heeler. Well we took her out and she was a gaint ball of energy and a very happy dog. We fell in love with her, changed her name to Ricki. She was too rough for her first owners but she was just what we were looking for. We have been happy with her since our first Saturday together.

Mom is so bad she has not been to dogster for so long, I had to come back from the Bridge to tell her to get on the ball. Strider has no idea about dogster and she is not getting him any pal. Bad Bad Mom!

Thank you to everyone who sent kinds words with Ricki's passing. Dogster is a wonderful place. We will answer all of the private message and rosettes in the future. We wish you all an enjoyable sumer. Thank you again for helping us in this difficult time

Yesterday morning Ricki left this world of pain and Sorrow. She died peacefully in her sleep. She will be greatly missed.
