Scary Moment!

Yes, so I got fixed yesterday...and it was scary! Daddy left me with these people and now I have this owwie on my tummy. :( Hopefully I will feel better soon so I can join the puppy park. I finally have all my shots and everything!!

Doing Great!

Things are going great. I am growing up so quick that my parents are freaking out. :) Not really. They are just very happy that I am growing up to be a snuggly wuggly puppy. I love sleeping on Mommy's lap all day on the weekends, it is so nice and warm. Mom and Dad love to get my attention when I am chewing on something I should'nt by doing one of two things...1. doing the Lola Yell which goes..."Llllllllllllllllllllola!" and they clap their hands...I cannot help but drop what I have and run to them (they are so tricky) and 2. the Lola Whale Call which goes "LLLooooollllaaaa" but when they do that they make their voice go up and down like a whale call. It is so funny! And I wear my sweaters all the time now and I love it, especially since the cold weather came so quick this fall here in Indiana.

Oh, and guess what! I am getting fixed next week and getting my last set of shots...woohoo! That means I can join the puppy bark like Showbiz!! Can't wait!!

Mile Marker

Guess what??? I actually walked to the door today when I had to poo! Mom is sooooo proud of me! Yay! I am finally learning how to tell her when I need to go besides just going or Mom taking me out every twenty minutes! I am such a good puppy!

its been awhile

yes, it has been awhile since we last posted. I have been very busy growing. :) My mom and dad says I am getting so big. My tail has grow two inches in a day it seems! Dad took me Saturday to get my second puppy booster shot and my first bordatella. Phew, the bordatella shot kinda made me feel icky, but it did not take me long to get back on my feet.

Mom and Dad are working hard to establish their Alpha-ness in the house. My cuteness is getting in the way of my discipline, but not anymore no way! Mom and Dad feed me last, make me sit, and all kind of new rules......sigh, I am growing up, huh? No more pansy stuff.

Soon we are going to start a puppy class to make sure our social and behavior skills are polished to a gleam!

P.S. I have learned how to sit and shake! I am such a smart puppy!

Yeahhhhhh, so I am teething......

Which means, I am SUPER GROUCHY and bitey lately. Today is a better day though than earlier this week, but now it is getting cold and rainy out. Mom and Dad need to invest in some sweaters or something cuz I shake so much and refuse to walk in the grass.

Phew!

Goodness, my parents always plan so much on the weekends. I think they are trying to wear me out. Well, first we went to FACE the Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic during their wellness clinic hours so I could get my first set of puppy boster shots. I was kinda tired from all the craziness and slept most of the time on Mommy's lap. Sissy Showbiz came too to get her heartworm test and her heartworm medicine. (I got so me too in my puppy pack! yum!) I have to go back in a week or so, which is crazy cuz we spent 3 hours in there and itwas kinda scary with lots and lots of barking dogs, strange smells, and hissing cats.

The very next day I went on a long car ride and we ended up in a park with a bunch of people and bunch of food. It was fun. They kept calling it a family reunion, all I know is that these kids kept putting their greasy fingers on me, but hey they tasted like chicken!

Loco Weekend

Si, my weekend was muy loco. First my parents brought home a little person thing. It kept talking to me and trying to hold me. It was scary and would not go away. I kept trying to hide under my blanket and sleep. But Mommy and Daddy helped me not be scared of it anymore. I guess it's name was Daytona and she was only spending the night because she left the very next day -just when I was getting used to licking the sticky stuff off her face. I also got to go to a birthday party. I got to lick everyone there! I was such a good puppy. I think my parents are trying to get me used to kids and lots of people so when I grow up I am not yippy and scared like a lot of chihuahuas we know. They call it socialization or some scary word like that. Anyways, most of the time it is fun, sometimes a little scary but mom or dad is always there to help out. Especially when little kids are trying to hold me....mom and dad have to teach them the right way and sometimes they have to make them let me down cuz I like to explore A LOT and beind held back from exploring is just not an option cuz it gives me the "wiggles." I get the wiggles a lot. In the morning when I wake up and mom and dad hold me close to their face for kisses, after work when they get home, randomly during the day and sometimes when I REALLY REALLY want put down. I just wiggle all over from happiness when giving kisses.

Well, I am definitely napping at the moment. I am super duper wore out from all the excitement this weekend. Meeting new people is fun! I especially liked the people who let me kiss their face, they are the best cuz sometimes they have cake or ketchup on their face. Ooooohhh it is fun!

Que Pasa?

Hola, mis amigos. Como estas? Yo estoy muy bien. Except for the last few days my mom and dad have had a hard time keeping up with me apparently. They are sooo tired. I think I wear them out. But I love them anyways. I have been learning how to walk on a leash and to wear a collar -IT IS SO HARD...it itches all the time. I try to scratch it off and look at mommy and daddy with my sad eyes, but it not working apparently because it is on and they insist on keeping the leash on me when we go outside. I think it is because I sometimes run up the steps or into the bushes where they cannot see me and they get scared that they lost me. Still, the leash is very restricting.

I supposed I will try to live with it, just to make them happy. I did really good today compared to yesterday. I walked on the leash without having to be carried or anything. Yay! My mommy was sooo happy with me -she kept giving me treats. I love treats. I wish my kibbles were treats.

That is another thing. My parents won't let me eat the big dog's food. I dunno what their problemo is. They keep saying it is because this puppy food is better for me, but I think they just don't want me to happy. Sniff!

Well, I gotta take my siesta now, walking is muy exhaustido.

Today I wanted to rank my favorite toys. Or at least my top five becuase I can't count any higher.

1. Big & Little Kitty: They are great, but sometimes they can play rough. I like their tails, and how they chase after me.

2. Mousy 1 & Mousy 2: Showbiz says that these are cat toys, but I disagree. They are perfect chihuahua toys.

3. Tug-Tug the Rope: It is ropey goodness!

Que Pasa!

I really love my new family. I can't wait until this evening when we all can go on another long walk. They are so much fun. My big sis, Showbiz, is teaching me new things every minute. Just a couple seconds ago, I learned that if you want to get fed, just look really sad and quiver a little bit. My master's are soooooooo gullible!

I'm gonna enjoy living in my new dig, just as long as I remember the comandments that Showbiz taught me:

1. Potty outside
2. Don't chew on cords becuase Mom & Dad need those
3. If it's attached to something, don't bite it (I guess that includes the cat's tails)
4. Whining doesn't work during crate training
5. Hugs and kisses are a must!
6. Sad eyes are the deal sealers!
