Today is my first Birthday. Yep, finally made a year old. Mommy says that it has been one of the best years of her life! That having me has made her smile, laugh and know what it means to love a puppy and get tons of love in return. Some days have been frustrating - as in house training - and some days have just been more fun that can be put into words. Watching me grow and change into the wonderful little man that I have become has been a fantastic journey. She says that I am the best little Chi she has ever met and is looking forward to many more birthdays to celebrate with me. I love my mommy and show her in so many ways - the way I sit right next to her if things are a little scary, the way I give her kisses every morning when I wake up, the jumping up on her when she gets home showing her just how happy I am that she is back home again, the way I snuggle up next to her every night at bedtime, the way I jump on her lap to get a cuddle, and probably a lot more that she can't think of right now. She says I am the happiest puppy she has ever met! I just love life - and of course my mommy and daddy, Sparky and Molly! and even Harley the cat! (I like her tuna breakfast the best!)

So we aren't going to do much today - maybe get some DQ ice cream tonight - and then a play day tomorrow with my Chi friends. That will be great! And mommy made treats for me to share too.
