Racine, WI show

Today I went to Racine to a dog show. It was right on Lake Michigan. I could see the water from the ring. I really wanted to go swimming but I was all prettied up and couldn't.
I was entered in the Best of Breed competition and was judged by the fabulous breeder judge Cheryl Peterson. Although she didn't pick me as the Best, she did place me as Best of Opposite Sex, so I was the best boy there. That's good enough for me! She even told me I looked nice!
Mom drove me home then and I got to go swimming with my sister and my Mom at Woodside Ranch. I had a good time. Now I'm going to run around while it's still light out and then lay and chew a good bone all night!

It's Hot!

It's been so hot here in Wisconsin lately. I'm so tired of it being hot. I go outside, I'm hot; I come inside, I'm hot. Will it ever end? Today was actually much cooler, so I can't complain too much, but it rained all morning so I didn't get to run around like I like to. I did get to go for a run in the potato field tonight with all my friends, so that was something, but other than that I really just hung out all day and didn't do anything.
