Wow! It's been a long time!

Like the title says, it has been AGES since I've posted a blog on Dogster! I'm sorry! A lot has happened. I'm not sure what I said last time, but I graduated Intermediate Obedience at PetSmart... and I haven't been able to take Advanced Obedience yet because Kristen and Christopher are short on the cash. The three of us moved to an apartment last month.

The apartment is interesting. There are so many dogs walking around and a lot of them have people too. I don't want any dogs taking my space, so I bark at them a lot. I've noticed that most people think I'm being vicious and I'll bite, but I'm just excited and I don't know what to do when I see dogs! I want to be their friend, but I want them to stay away at the same time!

Kristen and Christopher bought a rat, too... At least, I think that's what they say it is. I don't know, but it looks awfully tasty... and I get scolded every time I try to get closer.

I chewed on a few of Kristen's things this past week and she is not very happy with me. She says I owe her a lot of money for chewing up her sunglasses and headphones... I didn't know what they were or how much they cost... I just knew they made my mouth feel good.

Kristen says I should know better, since I am two years old now... but she also blames herself and her parents because before we moved, I didn't get enough discipline or something. I don't know...

My food got switched too! I eat something called Innova now... and OH MY DOG! It is the best stuff ever. I clean my dish right away and then lick it clean... it is soooooooo good.

I'm going to go stare out the window now. Woof!

Brrrrritos!

It has turned cold outside! Kristen (calling her Mom feels uncomfortable) says that she wants to buy a blanket and a sweater for me so I will stay warm this winter... She thinks it's going to get REALLY cold. If she's right, my little tail will freeze! I don't want to be a Renocicle.

I'm still in intermediate obedience and I'm having just as much fun as ever! I learned a few new things in class and Kristen taught me shake (or paw). I like to be a good pup, but it's so hard. Kristen is very busy this month working two jobs, so I don't really get to see her all that much anymore. Sometimes she doesn't come home for days at a time.

I miss her... :(

I've been jumping on the table and destroying things in protest... I also run out the door to try and convince her to take me with her. She just ends up saying, "You're in trouble, Mister" and then puts me inside.

I need more walks and lots of love! Kristen's parents just don't do it right... and they won't walk me.

Bow wow, it's been a long time.

I have been so busy trying to be a good pup that I have neglected my diary! Well, I graduated from Beginner Obedience today. The pictures will be on my page soon. I get to take Intermediate in a few weeks. My trainer calls Kristen my mom, so I think I'll just start calling her that too. I mean, she DOES care for me. She doesn't like how her parents care for me, though. She thinks they mess up everything I've learned.

I don't know, though. I think I just like to be bad sometimes.

Today I ran out the door a couple of times when Mom (there, I said it... It feels really weird, though. I wonder if she likes it...). I thought they would take me with them if I ran out! I ended up getting put back inside both times. They seemed really scared because cars kept coming by.

Oh, well. It was at least fun to scare them... I just wish they wouldn't leave me all the time.

I went to school!

It was the most fun I have had in a while. My trainer's name is Steve and there are only two other humans with one other dog in the class. His name is Hobo, I think, and he wanted to play with me so bad, but we had to learn stuff. Steve brings two of his dogs to class. Maxwell did all the demonstrations. I don't know the other one's names. They were kind of crowding in on me when we arrived, so I hid under Kristen's stool- but Steve told them to stop bullying me so they left me alone for the rest of class.

I can't wait until next week!

I forgot to mention that Kristen's book of pictures of me arrived from Shutterfly the other day. All her pictures make me look like a stud! That Dogster/Shutterfly deal was great!

I'm going to school!

Wow, it's been awhile! I haven't really been up to a whole lot. Kristen says my nails need to be trimmed and I also need a slight haircut. She signed me up for obedience classes because she wants me to be the best dog that I can be, especially before she moves me to a big city. She says that I have to make sure I am perfectly obedient when we move to New York so I can stay safe and healthy. I can't wait to start. She said that I'll get to meet other dogs and learn how to interact with them and Kristen and I will learn how to function as a team better. I have problems listening to her when she wants me to do something... I guess it's an authority issue. It's not that I don't love her or respect her, I just don't feel like doing what she says!

Anyway, I can't wait for classes to start. It's going to be a blast. Also, she said that after the first couple of classes, if I do really well and get better in our practice sessions at home, then she will take me on a trip to Christopher's house and then we will probably go to a park. I can't wait to go to the park! Kristen keeps telling me about it, but she's afraid I'll get too out of control right now, so we are waiting to see how I do at my classes.

It's going to be fun. We start July 9th.

Anyway, Kristen is on her way to work right now, so I have to go make sure she leaves safely. Hopefully I won't go months without posting again!

Here in my car I feel safest of all

Yesterday, Kristen asked me if I wanted to go for a ride. I had no idea what she was talking about. She put me in the car and then she and her father took me to this building with people inside of it that talk to you through windows and give you stuff in exchange for paper. I thought they were going to attack my family, so I barked and growled.

No one's allowed to mess with my family! Kristen told me it was okay, though, so I left them alone. They gave us FOOD! It smelled so good. I wanted it, but Kristen said I was not allowed... It was for her. Then we came back home and Kristen told me I was a good dog and that she's going to start taking me places...

I am so excited! I cannot wait to see somewhere new and meet new people!

Arf Arf Arroo Aroo balloo

I turned 10 months old as of midnight! I am so old now. Kristen told me I have a very small head. She says it seems to shrink as I get older... She held me up to the mirror, and she's right. I do have a small head! Compared to my body, I have a microscopic head on an inch of neck.

Do they make collars that make it look like you have a longer neck? Maybe I'll try to style my fur to make it look like my head is much larger than it is...

I had my first snow not too long ago. It was so much fun! I love throwing snowballs at the door. The only bad thing about the snow is how COLD it is... I'm only allowed outside for a short time and then I have to run around inside for at least half an hour before I begin to warm up. We have also gotten so much snow that it was taller than me! Let me tell you, that was a trip! Hahaha!

We're supposedly getting even more snow as I type... I sure do wish I had a sweater. Anyway, it's super late... so I'm going to go snore while Kristen watches Star Trek.

Doggie Doggie Doo

I found the stitches that the vet gave me and pulled them out on the seventh day. The vet said it was okay, so I just had to go in and be looked at just in case I missed some. But nope! All clear! So we weren't charged!

Kristen feels bad about me not being able to have treats because of my digestive system, but she seems determined to find something that she can give me. She says she enjoys spoiling me and doesn't want me to miss out on treats. Hehe.

Christmas was great! I got a corn on the cob chew toy... It tastes like bacon! I also got a second bed. Kristen says it's Pluto from Disney cartoons, but I don't know who that is. It's a very comfy bed... I got it so Kristen wouldn't have to cart my crate around the house all the time. That's fine with me!

V-E-T spells You-Know-What

Kristen and her mother took me to the You-Know-What, the V-E-T, today... and LEFT ME THERE ALL DAY! I was so nervous and lonely I thought they would never come back. I don't remember what they did to me there, so I bet I was neutered...

But now I'm feeling kind of sore and I keep getting told "Down" every time I try to say hello... Not to mention, I'm starving and they say they are not allowed to feed me until tomorrow.

Speaking of food, The V-E-T said that I have a very sensitive digestive system and will never be allowed to have treats or any "weird" food. That is why I have blood when I poop. He named some diseases that I cannot remember, but I might have them and Kristen is very sad. She has been wanting to give me treats and gourmet snacks since she before she brought me home.

But now she can spend all her money on TOYS!

ACK! BATHS!!

Everyone was saying I stunk, so Kristen finally stuck me in the tub and washed me. I haven't had many baths yet in my life, but I can say I don't like them. I hate being wet and I hate the soapy smell of the dog shampoo, but whenever Kristen gives me a bath, she always sticks her nose in my fur and her breathing tickles me.

She let me run around in the kitchen afterwards because if I was let outside, I would have become a Renocicle!

I am not a big fan of being clean, though... I like to roll around in the dirt in the backyard. Kristen found dirt stuck to my chin today and she said, "Reno! I just gave you a bath!"

So I attacked her face with my tongue. Hehe...
