Birthday: December 31st 1990 Likes: Being with Mommy, going for a car ride, having a cozy place to sleep Pet-Peeves: Jelly jumping on her, having to wake up early in the morning Favorite Toy: The only toy that she plays with is the food ball. Favorite Food: Anything, she is a real "chow hound". Favorite Walk: Any short walk with Mommy where there is grass and trees Best Tricks: Sit, down and stay. She will also leave a piece of food until she is told she can have it. Arrival Story: Jennifer was born in my kitchen. It was New Years Eve and Jennifer's mother was showing no signs of having puppies soon. To be safe I was not going out. I was laying on the sofa with Jennifer's mother in my arms when all of a sudden Jennifer was born in my hands!! I then put Mom and pup into the whelping box and we proceeded to have a total of six healthy puppies. Two of my friends had told me they wanted to be present when the puppies were born. I phoned them thinking that they would not want to leave their New Year's plans. To my surprise they both came over and we welcomed in the New Year whelping puppies! All the puppies were born by 3 am. All three of us still say that this was the best New Years that we have ever had. Bio: Jennifer, her mother and her grandmother were all born in my kitchen. Jennifer's great grandmother I purchased from a breeder in Chicago. All are champions. Jennifer's mother was a black schnauzer and Jennifer's father was a black and silver. Diary of the Day: I was Diary of the Day on March 6, 2007. Thank-you Dogster for this honour and for giving us the space to have our diaries. Special thanks to all the pups who shared this special day with me. We were honoured to receive all your warm wishes through p-mail, rosettes, pup-pal requests, stars and bones. Keep writing pups!
Angel Jennifer: I went to the Bridge on March 30, 2007 at 3:30 pm Central time. I was 16 years and 3 months old. I had a very good life and I am now free of pain playing at the Bridge.
Today is my fourth anniversary day at the Rainbow Bridge. I lived with my Mommy for 17 years and we had a great life. During the last year Jelly joined us. She was a really silly little pup but has matured into a wonderful companion for Mommy. I look down at Mommy and Jelly and it makes me happy to see them doing so well.
Today we are having a party at the Bridge to celebrate my anniversary. All Angel pups are welcome to join us for cake on Cloud 7.
Thank-you to all the pups for the pretty presents on my page.
I just can't believe another year has gone by. It seems like only yesterday I was barking this diary entry. Today is my birthday and if I was on earth I would be 20 years old. I am looking down at Mommy and Jelly and I am happy to report that they are doing fine. Jelly is doing a very good job at looking after Mommy. I would appreciate it if you could give your support to Jelly in this upcoming year since she is such a tiny pup and has such a big responsibility of looking after Mommy.
There is going to be a party all day today starting at noon Dogster time on cloud # 7 to celebrate my birthday. We are going to have cake, lots of treats and play lots of games. Please come and join us and celebrate my birthday and bring in the New Year.
This is a very important day at the Rainbow Bridge because the most beautiful Angel of all came to join us. It was my good pal Cali . Cali came to the Bridge at the age of 17 years just like I did. I heard that Cali was coming so I was right there to greet her. She now has her wings and looks so beautiful. We started off going cloud hopping and I showed her all around. We know that her family and all her Dogster pals are really going to miss her. Please have some peace knowing that Cali is in good paws up here at the Bridge and she is enjoying playing like a puppy again. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cali's family in the days to come.
