Arrival Story: Jennifer was born in my kitchen. It was New Years Eve and Jennifer's mother was showing no signs of having puppies soon. To be safe I was not going out. I was laying on the sofa with Jennifer's mother in my arms when all of a sudden Jennifer was born in my hands!! I then put Mom and pup into the whelping box and we proceeded to have a total of six healthy puppies. Two of my friends had told me they wanted to be present when the puppies were born. I phoned them thinking that they would not want to leave their New Year's plans. To my surprise they both came over and we welcomed in the New Year whelping puppies! All the puppies were born by 3 am. All three of us still say that this was the best New Years that we have ever had.
Bio: Jennifer, her mother and her grandmother were all born in my kitchen. Jennifer's great grandmother I purchased from a breeder in Chicago. All are champions. Jennifer's mother was a black schnauzer and Jennifer's father was a black and silver.

Diary of the Day: I was Diary of the Day on March 6, 2007. Thank-you Dogster for this honour and for giving us the space to have our diaries. Special thanks to all the pups who shared this special day with me. We were honoured to receive all your warm wishes through p-mail, rosettes, pup-pal requests, stars and bones. Keep writing pups!
Angel Jennifer: I went to the Bridge on March 30, 2007 at 3:30 pm Central time. I was 16 years and 3 months old. I had a very good life and I am now free of pain playing at the Bridge.
Today is my second anniversary at the Rainbow Bridge. I miss my Mommy and Jelly and I know they miss me. On this special day I like to think about all the fun I had on earth. I was born right in our kitchen and I lived in the same house for my whole life. I loved our backyard, I loved going for walks by the creek and I loved going for car rides too. I showed Jelly how to protect the yard from those pesty squirrels and I must say she is doing a good job.
I want to thank every pup for the well wishes and the special presents on my page. You have made my day so special. It makes my Mommy feel good too knowing that others are thinking about us.
Today we are having a big party at the Bridge to celebrate my arrival. It is sad that I had to leave Mommy but here at the Bridge I feel like a puppy again and I can run and play. All Angel pups please come and check out my party.
Today is my Birthday and we are having an all day celebration at the Rainbow Bridge. All Angels pups are invited. Please stop by at Cloud #7 for the celebration. We will be running and playing games, napping and have some real yummy treats. Later in the day there will be a big birthday cake made of liver. My friend Murphy just arrived at the Bridge this week and I will introduce him to many of the angel pups.
Mommy remembers very clearly the day I was born. She had worked all day and she knew the puppies could be born any time and because of this she decided to stay home for New Years. She was laying on the sofa holding my doggy Mommy when all of a sudden I was born right in her hands!!! BOL!! She quickly put my doggy Mommy into the whelping box and cleaned me up. Two of her friends had asked to be present when puppies were born so she gave them a call thinking they would not come because of New Years. Both people canceled their New Years plans and came to our house. Over the evening a total of 6 puppies were born. Mommy and her friends still talk about that day and say it was the best New Years Eve that they have ever experienced. I was such a lucky pup because I got to spend my whole 16 years with my Mommy living in the one house.
Mommy and I were so overwhelmed that the expressions of love on my page this morning in the form of rosettes and special presents. Thank-you so much pups, it means so much to us. Mommy will answer each pup individually as well.
My friend Murphy joined me at the Rainbow Bridge today. He was a 14 year old black Miniature Schnauzer from Brampton, Ontario. Murphy is now free of pain and playing like a puppy here in the clouds. I was there along with other Miniature Schnauzers to greet Murphy upon his arrival. I know this is a very difficult time for his family and our thoughts and prayers are with them. Hopefully they can take comfort in knowing that he is doing fine and is with his pals while he waits to be reunited with his loved ones.
